have to feel sorry for arroyo, thats prob as embarrassing a performance as Ive seen in long time ... even LB said (or appeared to me thru lip reading), "Every F-ing time" when he finally yanked him after violating shot clock ... all arroyo can do is dribble and he dominates ball, its comical ... and Hunter's no option ... I love both teams but said all along Deet's lack of 3rd guard will kill them

good game tho--CB is just playing nails!

So nice shoulder Duncan drove into Sheed running him over and Sheed gets vhis 2d foul. Typical ref'ing.

But solid half by Pistons.

Parker is sure a liability on defense...........as long as he isnt guarding Arroyo. Billips can get any shot he wants to off of him.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

why? this is a great defensive nba ball game pal. this aint no AND1 tournament with people running up and down the court trying to show off for their families.

if you want to sleep, then plan on sleeping this whole series and start watching an MTV reality series. because this is going to be hard fought basketball for 7 games

i dont care what you say, that was a terrible call on ben wallace on that blocking foul. feet were set, and he guessed right. i dont feell like watching another series like this with these terrible calls against detroit.

Then comes the no call on the charge by Gino.....

For your info if you look closely at that play Ben Wallace had his heel inside the circle. Don't be salty cuz Ginobli ran all over the Pistons in the fourth.

55-53....that "called" blocking foul changed the atmosphere of that game early in the 4th and the pistons lost their composure and that was the ball game.

Points to consider:

If Detroit doesn't get any frontcourt scoring....they are in trouble.

Chauncey Billups (vs. Parker) and Tayshaun Prince (vs. Ginobili) have to exploit those matchup offensively as Parker cannot stop Billups and Prince can get any shot he wants vs. Ginobili......POST HIM UP!!!!!

Rasheed 3 for 6??????

Two great defensive basketball teams.

I think the effort the Pistons gave in the 1st half is more indicative of what the Spurs will see the rest of the series as their energy level was high and seemed to go down as the game wore on.....fatigue from the 7 game war vs. Miami?

Spurs defence was great in the 2nd half.....but the Pistons offense has to step up if they want to compete here.

I'll give you that, that first one was a charge. And it did change the course of the game somewhat. The so called charge that the anouncer said was a non called charge was not. I'm tired of stupid announcers making dumb ass comments when they are wrong. Granted he had reason for arguing the for the first charge, but not the second.

As for the second game I really dunno what i'm gonna go, gotta see what the lines are first. But being that I'm probably one of the only lifetime spurs fan in Hawaii, thats what i'm leaning on again.

great defense? these teams do play good defense but i saw bricks coming from every angle...wide open jumpers that clanged left and right...saw bowen almost miss the entire rim, on a wide open three.....

poor shooting does necessarily not equal great defnese

WRONG! :nooo:

To the naked eye on TV it looked like a charge but it wasn't. The ref actually got the call right. When Ginoble hit Ben Wallace, Wallace did "NOT" have his right foot on the ground. Don't you need both feet planted on the ground for it to be a charging foul? Wallace did "not" have both feet planted on the ground when Ginoble made contact into Wallace. That is a FACT! Chalk this one up to the officials for making the correct call.

If you have HD and slow motion, the offical made the right call. I dunno if he saw that or not, but it ended up being the right call. Unless the rules say you don't need both feet planted for it to be a charging foul.
