MOST CAPPERS ALL OVER SD ... AND YES THEY ARE THE BETTER TEAM IMO AND HAVE THE BETTER PITCHER. COULD THE SAME NOT BE SAID FOR THE GAME LAST NIGHT WHERE ELARTON BEAT PEAVY :scared . PADRES HAVE SCORED ONE RUN IN THE LAST 30 INNINGS ...PADRES HAVE LOST 4 IN A ROW...PADRES 1-6 IN JUNE.

ANOTHER STRONG FAVORITE IN THIS FORUM AND MUST ADMIT I LIKE SF MYSELF AT FIRST GLANCE. NOT A LIMA FAN BY ANY MEANS ... BUT ... HE WILL WIN A GAME SOMETIME ... AND MAKES ME A BIT LEARY TODAY.

NOT COUNTING THE GAME AGAINST PEDRO ASTROS HAVE SCORED 19 RUNS IN THEIR LAST 3 GAMES. HOW BAD IS PETTITTE??? HOW GOOD IS GLAVINE??? I KNOW HOUSTON SUCKS THE BIG ONE WHEN PLAYING ON THE ROAD BUT THINK THIS WILL BE A VERY CLOSE GAME.

true on all 3. And I am on all 3. the prices are too high, but the bets are based on situations that I think strongly favor these 3. I think a good piece of advise is to not play these. SD team is all sick, which is why they are slumping. SF is in the worst slump in the majors, laying -160? Glavine laying -150 in his current form?

arguments: hou has about 6 road wins all year. All year. Mets win this series at home much more than the line of -150.

lima is the worst starter in the league this year, with few signs of changing things around. SF unlikely to get swept at home by the worst team in the AL sans tampa bay. Its nt that sf is that good, but that its hard for a team as bad as KC is to win to many games in a row, let alone 3 on the road.

SD: is the hardest best case to make. Overall, better team and record, seeking to avoid home sweep. Avoiding the sweep is in itself not a profitable play, but against a weak team, and being at home, and being a quality team, surely places this one in the more successful subset of anti-sweep plays. No hard data to back this up, though.

Coyote, The reason I liked Sd was this poor Westbrook is drawing everyones #1 starter. Sabathia is drawing all 2,3,4's and can't win. Cle is my hometown team. I follow it a little closer. Now westbrook draws a starter,not a #1 Eaton, where SD has won 8 of his last 9 starts.

As far as Lima, He stinks.

Coyote, you are doing a great job on the POD. I thank you for all the hard work and I am sure everyone else does too.

You aren't doing to bad in that POD either.

THANKS BA ... I HAVE A FULL(VERY FULL AT TIMES) TIME JOB AND DONT ALWAYS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO SPEND THE TIME CAPPING GAMES THAT I WOULD LIKE.

THE POD THREAD IS MAKING ME PAY MORE ATTENTION I THINK AND HAS WORKED OUT WELL FOR ME SO FAR. HOPE IT CONTINUES :clap: .
