Guys,I'm taking my family up to Niagara Falls at the end of June for 4 days. It's the only time all 4 of my kids will be home.Even though its my 30th anniversary were taking the whole crew to the Falls.I'm the only one thats seen it.Kinda sad that there New Yorkers and have never been up there.
I'n flying Jet Blue for $49 from JFK.Thats a total of $300 for all of us.But the Buffalo Airport transfer to the Hilton in Niagara Falls,Canada is $240 from the airport each way for the 6 of us.Is there any other transport to the Canada side?
I've got a double suite at the Hilton overlooking both falls.
Everyone says I don't need to rent a car because the casino, park, maid of the mist, etc are all near the Hilton.
But if the transportation cost is that much I might as well rent a car, right. It would be cheaper?

Some questions..
Casino gambling..is it 18 yrs old..Drinking age is ?
I have a 18,20,and 25 yr old.Also a 16 yr old.
Other then maid of the mist what else is there. My 3 kids and myself will gamble. My wife and 16 yr will shop.
How far is marineworld? We are only staying 3 nites.Any ideas will be apprecaited...Also some places to eat. Thanks

box, haven't done anything but gamble at casino niagra in the last 10 years or so. and latley i havent even done that, i get fawked with evreytime i go over the border. if you don't got a squeaky clean record they won't let you over. so i've been going to seneca niagra casino on the american side. like it better anyways due to the fact i like betting in american rather then canadian. nothing against canadian money b.t.w. i believe the drinking age is 19 but not sure. marineworld, not sure. there is shops, bars, and some activitly to do in casino niagra area that will keep them busy for a day or so i think. im sure the rest of the guys will tighten you up better then i just did. but for a 3 dayer you all should have a good time.

sorry i couldnt be more help and i hope you have a great time. :)

Box get my email from Jack. I live in Niagara Falls, I'll help you out.

There are two casinos on the canadian side, you have to be 19 years of age. The exchange rate is roughly 80 us dollars will get you 100 canadian. What or where do you like to eat?

Box,

I believe the drinking and gambling ages are 19. there is a hardrock cafe and planet hollywood within a half mile. marineland is one and a half miles away. marineland will cost 32.50 each. (I'm going next friday)
can't believe that it's 40 bucks apiece for the airport transfer (it's only about 30 miles) each way. if that's true, I'd rent a car, you won't need it once you're there, lots of stuff all around you. Your hotel probably has a shuttle service to area attractions and casino.

have a great trip and good luck.

let me know how you made out.

Somewhere in Corn Country
Wife and I were just at Niagra Falls on Thursday afternoon...
Didn't take the boat ride or visit a casino, but we did go down to the base of the American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls via an elevator ride. It was a lot of fun and the view at the bottom looking up at all the water pouring over the falls is awe-inspiring. Wanted to do the boat ride as well but didn't have enough time to do that.
Remember to wear shorts for either way of seeing the falls as you will get wet and I saw plenty of miserable looking people with wet pants after either tour....Enjoy!
