The class edge is overwhelming that its almost impossible to see anyone but afleet alex win the stakes.alex is clearly the superior horse and will probably win it easliy.
he was a disappointment in the derby with no serious excuses.but in the preakness he demonstrated he was clearly the best 3 year old on the track that day.i am thinking that giacomo is no match for this pony.the only slight worry is that he will bounce off his preakness win.none the less bounce or no bounce he should be too good for this bunch.
the only value in the race will be to try to beat giacomo all together and come up with some lonshots for the exacta and triple.with 7 horses in here simply being too slow ,the only other logical choices to hit the board are #4 southern africa #8 reverberate and #11 chekhov.
#11 chekhov looks impressive breaking his maiden then running a lack luster race in the peter pan where he was 4th ,he was banged around in the gate.#4 southern africa ran a nice race in the lone star derby and #8 reverberate ran 2nd in the peter pan.

KEY AFEET ALEX ON TOP OF THE 4,8,11
IN EXACTAS AND TRIPLES

Going to The Great Lone Star Park tonight. Will be placing a wager or three on the Belmont. Like Alex with both Chechov and Southern Africa.

Tonight I like: Race 3 Submediant and Race 4 Dyna's Gold. Both will be chalk but Fav's are coming in.

Soul Train, it looks like we are on the same page, I did the exact same thing as you I threw out giacomo, figuring I need to beat him b/c Alex is definatley the horse to beat. Of course this is horse racing and he will probably finish up the track knowing my luck, but hopefully we both cash.
