Not sure what my record posting is, but it doesn't really matter now , does it?
I am all over the under, which is to say, very enthusiastic re: my chances of hitting today's play:
Hou/Tor Under 7.5 -109
I could cite a multitude of reasons for feeling this way, but I will limit it to just these few nuggets.
1) Roger Clemens' 12 starts have gone under 9-3, including two straight overs. He allowed 3 in top of the first v STL, and Astros exploded for 5 in bottom of first, sending it over, but final score was still only 6-4. The previous over, he left with a 2-0 deficit after 7, only to have the pen implode with a 7 run 9th to make it a 9-0 final.
2) Clemens leads NL in ERA with 1.67
3) The Astros are last in MLB with a .243 BA
4) Today's opponent, Toronto , is 23-9-3 UNDER in road games
5) Toronto's starter, Chacin , is fourth of all AL starters with 3.04 ERA, and has gone under in 8 of 11 starts.
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE
