Call me old fashion but.....

Call me old fashion but.....

I'm a Nats fan from the 60s and just love how Frank Robinson seems to also be stuck with some of the concepts of the 60s as well....like starting pitchers staying in the game as long as they are effective,(e.g., Hernandez had a 150 pitch count one game and pitched just fine the next time out); releasing players when they are disrespectful (okra), pinch hitting for everyone (only a few players are considered irreplacelable)....so although the scientific/analytical cappers consdier all the angles, like pitch count on 4 days rest (does anyone rememver the 4-man rotation by the way?), it's I enjoy teams like the Nats who at least for now are successfullyl breaking the mold in a number of ways...so we'll see tonight, I've got the Nats to win. against an equally scrappy team with an excellent old fashion manager....I see the Nats winning streak being broken when they come into a pitching mismatch they can't overcome...tongiht and tomorrow night I don't think fits the bill for a Nats loss...but then again, I'm a fan, so take it for what it's worth

looks good

I love Livan and this Nats teams as they have won alot of money for me but watch out for Santana here and the Nats coming off a long win streak with a loss already, sometimes teams might lose 2 or 3 in a row after a long win streak once they lose that first game to end the streak. Santana has lights out stuff for the Halos. With all that being said Livan has and is one of my fave pitchers so it will be tough to go against him also

Livan and the Nationals might still be a good pick for tomorrow. Santana has not pitched in 3 weeks. I don't know what the stats are on such a long layoff, but I can't believe they are good. Especially for young pitchers that want to establish some rhythm after a great start.

Santana has been pitching in Triple A...He was called up before for 2 starts and now Escobar is on the DL again so he just got called up once again

I should have been more specific. I realized he was sent back to AAA, but he hadn't pitched at this level in 3 weeks.
