... without causing an overflow?? (either a chipmunk or a ground squirrel, can't see the tail so don't know for sure which it is, but it is dead in the toilet.) :( ..... can't bring myself to pull it out (death phobia) and everyone else is sleeping.

Just when you think you've seen them all.......

Never a dull moment at Madjack Sports.

A freaking chipmunk or squirrel? At least you know your tails. I believe I would be waking somebody up.

okay, here's the full story.... about 2:00 this afternoon i realized it was in the house.... either a cat brought it in uninjured, or it came in by itself thru the kitty *window*.... it was sitting at my feet peeking up at my bed when i first saw it, and then it ran out my bedroom door into the main part of the basement (that is still PACKED with moving boxes :( ) .... i tried to find it for a couple hours and had absolutely no luck. :( the bathroom door was shut, but it must have been able to make it under it looking for water after all the sunflower seeds i put down for it. we went to a picnic tonight, and apparently that is when it found it's way to water and drowned.

and Nol.... GROUND squirrel...LOL...... i could tell a chipmunk from a regular squirrel without seeing the tail ;)

and yeah, i'm thinking about waking dad up and asking him if i should try and flush it, but don't wanna f up his plumbing without permission since we just invaded his house :D ... at least i know it isn't gonna decompose and start stinking since it's completely under cold water until morning.

That's a ground squirrel all right. Got one just like it that plays around....................

OUTSIDE

I don't believe I would be flushing that sucker. Just get a towel and pull. Worst case, you rip it in half and you half a corpse in your hand(towel) and 1/2 in your toilet. 1/2 should be easier to flush but don't quote me.

:mj07:

This is some funny shit!

Agent, have no clue as to what you mean by IBS, but i promise i'll partially attribute it to chipmunk/groundsquirrel scum, cuz it was only 2 days ago that i had that toilet spotless with lime away ;) :D

Do not flush that chipmunk. I'm sure you've pulled other things out a toilet before (you do have kids, right, lol!!).

IBS, lol!!!! BM, IBS = Irritable Bowel Syndrome, ie shitstains around the rim!! ROTFL!! :mj07:

Nol, was i fed misinformation at our picnic tonight.....when i was asking about a good way to catch one alive, they said i could tell a ground squirrel from a chipmunk by the tail length (which i can't manage to see butt down in the toilet) and ain't NO WAY i could pull it out, it's a morning project now for sure.... either dad gives permission to flush, or i fork over bonus allowance to a child.

just glad i discovered it before waking up to pee during the MIDDLE of the night and seeing it as an even bigger surprise while half alseep.

LOL 6-5, as you can see by my not knowing what IBS was, i am NOT cut out for nursing.. (think the dead thing freak out might have anything to do with that also??) and yes, i have pulled MANY a things out of the toilet due to children, but nono of them are things that used to be alive :(

geez, i hope my dad wakes up early on sunday mornings to get permission for what to try, and DAMN, i hope i don't forget it's there during the middle of the night an go in and pee some rum on it ;)
