Prior opened at -145 and at my book, he is -175 now. Why? I really do not understand this at all. I believe the NATS are the play here but everyone seems to be unloading on Prior. Talk to me fellows. :cursin: :cursin:

Hey Lee. I'm not one of the pros at the forum but I'm having the same thought. I'm not unloading at Washington but I sure like the odds for them to win.

GL if you play!

I played Washington small last night. Bad move, as I could've gotten it at more than 20 cents higher if I'd waited until today. By no means do I think the Nats are money in the bank, but with Livan on the hill, the bullpen advantage and at that price, definately worth a play.

With it being the only day game on Friday of Fourth of July weekend, I'd imagine this game is probably getting a little more action than a normal baseball game, so naturally the team with a national following the "name" pitcher is going to get more money on it.

It's a short day for most, the only game on TV and most people like the favorite and the Cubs over a team they no nothing about. If you switched starters the line would be the same. Most games are not decided by the starters but Hernandez decides more than most.

Ramierz is not starting. Macias is in his place. Also, when looking at the 2 lineups, how does this game go over!?!??!?

This game is sort of like the Indians game yesterday. A ton of late money came in on the tribe and people were asking why the O's were such big dogs.......ok maybe its not really the same, but the outcome will be ( :

These probably the reason:

At home Prior went 3-0 with a 1.83 ERA in six contests. And they just lost one yesterday at home.
The ML has steady increased while the under going the other direction as a shutout expected.

I'll root for the dog & over then.
