So which racebooks would you recommend and which racebooks offer the most harness racing??

Would really appreciate anyone that can help.

I'm not really a horse capper, but put me in Vegas with drinks in hand at 10 a.m. with a couple buddies, and we can bet horses (and lose at it) for hours. My experience in books is limited, but I remember that the Stardust had just a boatload of tracks going. Even at the Bellagio, I remember they had at least 2-3 harness tracks going at night on the left side of the book.

I one I don't like is MGM. Horses is in a different room from Sports. I want to do it all, while wagering on Horses.

I've been at Ballys (slight angle) and Caesars books latley and they were fine.

Stardust & LV Hilton are my favs. They also have good parking & easy access to the R&SB

Thanks for the responses. Looks like the consensus so far is the Stardust and the LV Hilton.

Another Steve....totally agree with you about the MGM. You need to be able to keep an eye on the games while the ponies are going on...just not a good setup.

bjfinste....been to Bellagio's race and sportsbook and thought it was pretty nice...TV's at every seat if I remember right, but was not there in the late afternoon, evenings when most of the harness racing is going on, so will definitely have to check it out next time I'm out there.

If anyone knows of anymore that especially carry a lot of harness racing please feel free to post....thanks in advance.

Harness racing usually comes on at night so most of the crowd is gone

Have to be careful that the sportsbook doesn't close early

Ballys and Paris stay open until 11 or 11:30 vegas time

good luck and have fun
