I Just Heard That Bob Stoops Will Receive a $3 million bonus if he coaches the Sooners through the 2008 football season. :scared

Interesting retention strategy. I can't recall hearing of that technique used before. Although I think they used the wrong strategy.

Just thinking ahead. No reason not to throw out a little security blanket. he of course has incentives to win conference and national championships as well as incentives to play in BCS games.

It is hard to argue with a track record of playing in the month of January the last five years including four BCS bowls. Especially when this upcoming year will be his seventh.
