In case you have not been paying attention, Rich Harden has been
unhittable since returning from the DL. In three starts, he has
allowed only 7 hits, 3 walks and one earned run in 17.2 innings.
Hitters, catchers and umpires alike have been marveling at a
new pitch he has added, which can be best described as a splitter
that has the looping action of curveball. He is also working with an
extra day of rest. The A's are hot and looking to bounce back from
being shut down by Ted Lilly last night. They hit lefties very well
and we think they are too good and too hot right now to lose to
southpaws on consecutive nights.

I can't agree with you more about Oakland as they look to bounce back strong against a rattled Chacin. I will also lay some money on Colorado today, after taking the Dodgers last night. However, I'm playing Baltimore today as they look to make up some ground on the AL East leading Red Sox. This is a great spot to catch Boston off-guard, as they come off road series in Toronto and Texas. Don't be surprised if some of the Bosox starters ease up in the last day before the Allstar break.
