Just saw a preview for the New Bad News Bears movie... it looks funny but phuk man is anyone else sick of remakes???? What the hell was wrong with the old Bad News Bears??? Or the old Wonka??? Do we really need to see it again??? A Herbie movie??? are you serious?

I've heard they're going to redo Pet Semetary, lol.

The remakes really don't bother me. I just go to an online site and look at movie ratings (rated by real people, not idiot critics) before I rent or got to the theater to see a movie. This keeps me from watching a lot of dogs.

I don't understand the Bad New Bears because you really can't do much more with it. I like seeing remakes now that can be enhanced by special effects such as Wonka.

The new Batman is not a remake. The screenplay for this is original.

And for a geek like me, keep bringing the comic book movies. It puts on the big screen what I read as a kid. I think they rock for the most part. Some have sucked REALLY badly though.

Hell USA network has a remake of Kojak that is pretty lame, so I guess even the network are struggling for ideas. I was reading on some entertainment site that they are working on doing a movie remake of the television shows Miami Vice ( I wish I could find the original shows on some channel) and The Rockford Files.

Yeah, Hollywood produces stinkers to watchable movies at a 50 to 1 ratio. I try to watch more indies and foreign films as a result...but that means dvd's.

Dukes of Hazzard does look like a joke. Jessica Simpson is so not hot and who was in the role of Daisy Duke would be the only reason to watch this flick.

I once met Catherine Bach a while back and she looked pretty good w/o makeup.
