How many sportsbooks will you be using during football season?

I will try to use the one where I win...I try to stay away on the ones where I lose :mj07:

Likely 4 or 5, plus whatever small postups are required for contests. Also one local guy as a rare out, for the times that he is using very stale numbers, or he needs balancing action and puts up some wacky desperate line on a game.

Three for the bulk of my bankroll, then keep a few units in Neteller just in case a great line is to be found at another online book. (which happens a few times a year, assumably to level out their action.)

I found most books lines are all the same. At the most 1 or lower. why do you want to have more than one book? 98% of all the games that cover, cover by more than 2 points. If you had 3 books and all books where 1 point different than the other, you could lose three bets, or split the bets. The point of gambling is winning the bets, not breaking even with counter bets...

Just because you have 3-4 books doesnt mean you are going to place a bet with each of them on the same game, its all about finding the best odds and in football that extra half a point to point does come into play alot more than you would think

10 books does seem just a bit excessive...but only because of the extra fees you'll likely incur if you're playing at places that don't give you free withdrawals. But aside from that, why not? You need a place with good dog lines, another good for favs...another one (at least, maybe two) for reduced juice...scoop a couple good bonuses in from somewhere else, etc.

If you've got $10,000, why put $5,000 each in two accounts when you could put $1000 in ten? If I did that I am sure 3-4 of those accounts would be wiped out by end of season.... but a couple more would be about level when it's all done, and the other 4 would show profit. In the meantime, the more outs the better.

And those extra half points are definitely worth it, for exactly the reason BBC stated. Every extra % point you can add is a lot in the end - as long as it more than offsets those fees.

(edit) I know I learned one thing from last year. I am reading bonus policies a lot closer this year. I refuse to play anymore at places like Carib that are going with this new trend of giving you "more betting power" in the form of bonuses that can never be cashed out. The only way you ever access the bonus is to put your entire roll at the place at risk at one time. So they just want suckers signing up with them. Pass.

GM,

I'm not interested in bonuses at all.

Free withdrawals is nice, but not necessary.

I've already done my homework.
