Dear Chad

During the next week Noble Poker will give away thousands of dollars to announce the release of our new and improved poker software!
We will be hosting a $1,000 freeroll every day at 19:45 between Thursday July 21st and Thursday, July 28th. Any player who was dealt at least 20 hands during the previous 24 hours will be eligible to play this freeroll.
In addition, during this same week we will host a daily $250 freeroll at 15:00 that will be open to all of our players.

We?re not done yet...
Our incredible reload bonus will also be back next week!
Between July 18th and July 25th get a 60% reload bonus of up to $200 on any deposit you make.

This latest version of our software includes several major improvements, including the support of multi-table play - a feature which many of our players have been asking us to develop.
Many of you have sent us comments on ways we can improve our poker room, and thanks to your many suggestions and ideas we were able to significantly improve our product. Therefore, we thought it's only natural to celebrate this major upgrade with you. We figured that the best way to do so would be by throwing tons of cash your way!

Next time you log-in to Noble Poker, the initial log-in process will take 2 - 3 minutes as the software will download the updates we've been working on. Please be patient and trust us, the wait will be worth your while!

We hope you will enjoy this latest upgrade of our software, and we look forward to getting your comments about it. As always, we'd love to hear your thoughts and ideas about ways we can make Noble Poker even better.

See you at the table and good luck!

In the past I have liked Noble Poker the best, however tonight was ridiculous (maybe new software???)

Lost tonight (over the course of 3.5 hours) all-in or pushing someone all in preflop on:

AA 2 times
KK 3 times
QQ 2 times
AK suited 5 times

Every hand except one of the AK suited hands I had the dominant hand going into the flop.

I got beat (people went all in with these hands);
5/6 off suit
Q/8 offsuit
7/3 offsuit

I have lost with some of these big hands before but not 12/13 times, that is freaking ridiculous, I won't be depositing anytime soon (thank goodness I made a withdrawl last week or I might have lost it all)...

personally i would never play at noble, only because they don't have my limits and you can only one table for some reason, or at least you used to.

as for your problem its called running bad. it has nothing to do with their software. your sample size is too small. you might win the next 50 times in a row in those situations. it always evens out in poker, your sample is just 15 hands or so when in reality 100,000 is barely enough. i highly doubt they would scam your money because they have no reason to.

sux, but its just poker. if you don't feel comfortable playing there, then by all means don't, but its not the softwares fault.

look at the glass half full. you got your money in with the best of it, if what you said is true, then don't worry about it. you can't lose in the long run if you continue to do that. short term variation is a bitch though.

sportsnut and Pro190........no offense, but you haven't got a clue if you think playing online is stupid or insane. Heck, anymore, I'd rather play online than live. There's so much money to be made it's unreal and pro, are you saying you can't "learn" poker online?? LOL.

After reading this board each football and basketball season... some of those same comments can be applied to hoops and foots with all the cheating and allegations that people come up with as to how their bet was rigged.

Big difference in betting a football game that you can watch on t.v. then playing in a card game.Sure people say the game was fixed or the referees fixed the game. You still could bet either side at the start so the game could be fixed for you. I don't believe Pro sports are fixed. In college maybe you get things like from Northwestern or Florida St and players trying to make some money. I'm sure you can make some money playing cards there a lot of stupid people in the world who think there the next Moneymaker. I think in the end if your playing blackjack, slots or any house game you are more likely to lose playing on-line then at a game in Vegas.Just my opinion

BDB, normally I would agree with you 1000% but on the several poker forums I visit frequently bad beats at Noble are a topic of discussion. ALOT of talk about two players with identical hands flopping the nuts at NL tables and getting a bunch of money in the pot just to pay the rake.

You hear alot of people complain that on-line rooms jack up the RNG to max out the rake which is usually rediculous, but with the recent talk about Noble, this is one case where that may be happening, given they have been struggling just to get some kind of income there.

I obviously can't say for sure, but I am hearing it alot about them recently.

i've stopped playing online poker after only 3 months...
i started at noble, then bodog and now i'm leaving ultimate bet.
i have a house game every friday with friends thats pretty competitive.
i cannot believe the hands that these sites give out... stuff like q,q,q or all diamonds on the flops. seems like every 6th hand! then when you see others players cards, the cards dealt are very similar! like player 1 has j10, player 2 q10 and player 3 has a10... it forces more betting as players think they've outdrawn only to find they're chopping pots.
FOR ME online poker has not been enjoyable.... too predictable.

While I really did have hopes for their software, Noble had only 540 players on last time I checked, with no Omaha games going and one Omaha/8 game going at 2 cent/4 cent. Their holdem limits arent much better.

Well I'm looking to play somewhere new for awhile. I have done VERY well at Paradise in the past. Always come back to it. Love it for the cash games but I cant do chit in the tournies this year. Only 5 final tables and 1 win. Need a new look for tournies as the players there are a joke. You have to risk ALL your chips every time you play a pot. Respect you Acehistr8, any suggestions?

Not bad for 6 days' work
Poker player nets $300,000 in tournament

By GEORGE CHIDI
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Published on: 07/17/05

Joe Connor ran up against a pair of aces Friday at the worst possible moment in a tournament ? short of chips and holding a pair of jacks.

Connor, 52, busted out in 23rd position Friday at the World Series of Poker tournament in Las Vegas. After six days of play against 5,615 opponents, Connor will come home to Roswell with a bit more than $300,000 in winnings.

"You cannot play poker scared," Connor said. "One of the guys came up to me and asked if getting this far had been a life-changing experience. I said no."

Connor retired from his former career as a brokerage company owner in February, sold everything he had and set up shop at home to play poker online, he said.

"I bought my girlfriend a dog," he said.

It's been an up-and-down ride since, he said. He generally hasn't done well in tournaments but has been holding his own playing Texas Hold 'em poker in pickup games outside the spotlight, he said. He qualified by winning a tournament online.

"Personally, I think the key is staying away from the good hands of other players," Connor said. "The difference between a professional and an amateur is being willing to lay down any hand at any time."

Sometimes, that advice can be hard to take in a tournament. Connor lost to the strongest possible starting hand ? two aces.

With more chips at the World Series of Poker tournament in Las Vegas, Connor wouldn't have had to risk all his chips and call his opponent's big raise ? he could just wait for a better hand. But with few chips, the forced bets threatened to whittle his stack down to nothing in no time.

With a worse hand, the Roswell native would have guessed he would probably lose and just folded on the spot.

His opponent had more chips than anyone at the table and might have just been bullying a weaker foe before the "flop" of three community cards had been dealt, Connor said. Still, he knew his opponent might have had something good, too, after he moved "all-in," betting his entire stack of chips.

Connor was out of options and called the raise. "As soon as I saw his aces, I knew I was dead."

Connor plans to give 30 percent of his take to three poker buddies from the Brookhaven Country Club who entered the tournament with him, he said.

His late-table finish is a vindication, he said. "It's not so much the money as the confidence it gave me," he said. "In my life, I haven't done things for money. It wasn't on the list."
.......................................................................................

I liked the part where he bought his gf a dog before he started playing serious. I guess to keep her busy.

Highly recommend another madjacks sponsor (I think) pokerstars. Great tourneys on there, great software and lots of games/players of all kinds and limits. The best poker site in the world isnt going to to dick without a flood of players populating their tables, so I see no reason to stray from stars or party. Any game you want any time you want it. Stars is great for tourneys though, give it a look.
