i`ve been thinking and reading about this stuff....and i`m not altogether buying the argument that we are bad guys...or are responsible for islamist terror...as the media and some politicians would lead us to believe...
the butchery by radical muslims in bali, darfur, the philippines, thailand, turkey, tunisia,iraq and now egypt????....are not tied to islamic grievances.....
all this killing was not over the west bank or u.s. hegemony after all, but a global pathology of young male islamic radicals blaming all others for their own self-inflicted miseries.....
and we`re(the west) the perfect target...even though their atrocities span 5 continents...
. it`s intersting to think that the global jihad avoids two billion indians(who the muslims have major grievances with) and chinese, despite the fact that their countries are far tougher on muslims than is the u.s. or europe..
a billion chinese haven`t been touched by radical islam — even though the chinese are secular and mostly godless, as well as ruthless to their own "uighur" muslim minorities...
i wonder what would have happened had bin laden issued a fatwa against china and slammed an airliner into a skyscraper in shanghai....lol
there`s no telling what a nuclear china might have done....

the more civilized...the more democratic...the easier the task...
basically unlimited immigration(particularly in europe), billions in cash grants to arab autocracies, alliances of convenience with dictatorships(some of you guys have railed on that theme), triangulation with middle eastern supporters of terror, blaming the jews....

but until "the wall" fell, we did not send billions in aid to their eastern european dictatorships or travel freely to prague or warsaw ...we didn`t admit millions of communist-ruled bulgarians and albanians into the west....
the wst has bent over backwards to accomodate monsters like yassir arafat...he(and his holster) became a moderate to europeans...and he was free to steal millions of " good-behavior" money...... i.e,if hamas gets european cash, it would become reasonable, ostracize its “military wing,” and cease its mudering and bombing....

when the u.n. and the e.u. talked about “refugee camps,” nobody asked why for a half-century the arab world could not build decent housing for its victimized brethren....
billions of dollars poured into jordan and egypt. ....
arafat got tens of millions, though none of it ever seemed to show up in good housing, roads, or power plants for his people....and the terror continued....enhnced rather than stifled by western generosity and israeli concessions......

as i said,we gave billions to jordan, the palestinians, and the egyptians......afghanistan was saved from the Soviets through u.s. aid.....
kuwait was restored after saddam’s invasion.....
the holocaust of bosnians and kosovars halted by the american air force.....
americans ans europeans welcomed thousands of arabs to our shores and allowed hundreds of madrassas and mosques to preach zealotry, anti-semitism, and jihad without much scrutiny.....
from 1967 we witnessed 40 years of bombers, child murdering, airline hijacking, suicide murdering, and gratuitous shooting and decapitating..... we in the west...and europe in particular.... usually cried crocodile tears, and then came up with all sorts of reasons to allow the middle eastern killers a pass......
after all these years, do not expect praise or gratitude for billions poured into iraq, egypt, jordan, or palestine or thanks for the liberation of kuwait, protection of saudi arabia in 1990, or the removal of saddam — much less for american concern for muslims in bosnia, kosovo, chechnya, somalia, the sudan, or afghanistan......
we have made mistakes...but,as always,our past sins must always be magnified 10 fold.....
as our benefactions are slighted,if not totally ignored....
we`re the bad guys...the western media tells us that everyday...enemies within...undermining our troops..magnifying mistakes....pounding the public consciousness with the moral equivalence of our enemies.....in the interest of political gain...our own politicians...making statements that are front page headlines in propaganda rags like al jazeera....
consumerism, oil profiteering, heavy-handed militarism, and spiritual desolation.......and torture at abu ghraib and gitmo..20 days in a row...front page news in the n.y. times......lol
the extremists?....they`re given a weird sort of pass....despite hatred of ALL non-believers and homosexuals.... their neanderthal views of women. ....beheadings, the murder of christians,hindus...other non-fanatical muslims... suicide bombings carried out BY children....suicide bombings carried out specifically against children and innocents...
systematic torture ......
all this and more paled in comparison to hot and cold temperatures in american jails on cuba........
we`ve already lost,gents....we don`t have the will our forefathers had......
