Too late to post, but I played OAK today to come back with a win. Didn't do anything with the other early games, was too busy with work.

Went 6-7-2 last nite for -2.90 Units, only my 2nd real losing nite since posting, so hopefully I bounce back today and tonite.

BOSTON should hit McClung hard today and with WAKEFIELD on the hill for the RED SOX, I can see them winning this one by a few. Of course, we still have the SOX BP to worry about so that's why I'm playing the OVER for twice as much. We get a little help from the HP Ump as he is allowing over 6 walks and 11.5 RPG over his last five. The ball should be flying out today at TROPICANA.

JOHN WAYNE LIVES!! Or at least his nickname does. DUKE has been lights out so far and I've backed him every time out so far. FLA was scoring a ton of runs for awhile with 11 straight OVERS I think, but lately the bats have quieted and PITT has had their number lately for some reason. I'm looking for another low scoring game tonite and hopefully PITT gives DUKE just enough to win.

I like SANTANA over LIETER tonite as I doubt if old man AL can duplicate his first game back in pinstripes performance. The line is a little high in my opinion especially with the way MINNY is hitting right now. LIETER is no JOHNSON, so look for a little more offense from the TWINS tonite. I think 3 runs will be enough if JOHANN is on.

TEX is the worst hitting team in the league VS LEFTIES and for whatever reason continue to struggle on the road vs them. CHEN has been lights out at CAMDEN so here's hoping those two trends continue. Neither team is hitting well, so I'm going with the better lefty at home at a fairly low price (135).

METS -125 ** DOUBLE PLAY **
METS Under 11.5 +105 ** DOUBLE PLAY **


METS came to COORS doing well and have lost two close games so far. Tonite they have ANGEL HERNANDEZ BHP which should help them get thieri first win of the series. HERNANDEZ is 4-9 for the home team and 5-8 to the Under. It also helps that COLO is 2-8 in Game 3 after a win. I'm liking the METS to win this one 5-2 or so.....


SD (Peavy) -130 ** DOUBLE PLAY **

I know SD has been horrible and the road team has won 4 of 5 so far between these two. BUT, PEAVY is a STUD and will show it tonite when he leads his team to a win over STL. PEAVY is 5-1 at home, 6-3 at nite and is also 3-0 with MARQUEZ BHP. With BHP in his favor, I think this will restore his confidence and we'll see the BIG JAKE we saw earlier in the year.

SEA (Moyer) -125 ** DOUBLE PLAY **

SEATTLE is not a great team, but they've played well behind MOYER at home. JAMIE is 5-0 at home so far this year and DET is a much better home team than they are on the road. Both teams hit lefties well, but I'll pass on the total with a lean to OVER. Mariners get it done tonite as BELTRE belts at least one HR.

Don't look for much from me the next few days, I am burnt. Way too many games the past few days and too many bad beats for my heart & BR to take. TEJADA has been up twice this game with the bases loaded and failed to get even one run across. I had KLESKO up in SAN DIEGO, same thing, bases loaded one out and he hits it to the pitcher for a DP. TEJADA pops up and then strikes out.

Earlier I had MINNY & Under and looked golden in the 8th with SANTANA pitching with a 4-0 lead. But noooo.... they take out SANTANA and RHOIDS RINCON comes in to load the bases, walk in a run, then MORNEAU can't scoop the throw with TINO running to get the 3rd out. 2 runs score to push the total, then the piece of crap MORNEAU hits a meaningless HR in the top of the ninth to sink my Under. :cursin:

To top that, COLORADO scores a run in the bottom of the ninth down 9-2 to wipe out yet another Under play. Funny, I can't remember ever winning many OVER plays in the 9th, but I sure as hell can lose em!

I probably shouldn't be bitching, I'm probalby going to have a winning nite, but it looked like a monster nite for awhile and now I'm making a nickel at best!

Worst nite I've suffered in a while... if I hit the MINN Under or BALT I have a winning nite, but lose the two biggest plays and I'm a loser! Unreal the way the last two nites have ended. Probably taking tomorrow off, too pissesd to cap and get a feel for the games. May post something if it jumps off the screen and bloodies my nose, but I doubt it.

I lost a lot more than the 2.69 units as I keyed my two big plays in some R/R pars. I hit the other games of course, but when you need to hit more than .500 to make money, it hurts big. If BALT wins and MINNY stays under, I woulda cleaned up big time.

Time to regroup.... laterz. :SIB
