+10.8 units since the break
what up guys back from vacation and looking to continue the winning streak since the break....full card today so i'll try and not get carried away...these are just early thoughts and will try and narrow them down

KC/Boston KC+200
ROYALS PROBABLE STARTER: Runelvys Hernandez (8-9, 4.49 ERA). Hernandez is 3-0 with a 3.13 ERA in his last four starts, and went 6-2 with a 3.15 ERA in June and July.
? KC is 8-2 in Hernandez's last 10 starts.
KC .287 vs righties L10
i think this is worth a shot at this price cause sometime Wakefield just doesn't have that knuckleball going

Cubs/Phils Under9
CUBS PROBABLE STARTER: Carlos Zambrano (7-4, 3.43 ERA). Zambrano is 3-0 with a 1.75 ERA in his last six starts, pitching at least seven innings in each of those outings. The right-hander did not get a decision in the Cubs' 4-3 win over San Francisco on Wednesday after surrendering three runs and 11 hits over 7 1-3 innings. His only complete game of the season came against the Phillies on May 8, when he threw a five-hitter in a 2-1 win
PHILLIES PROBABLE STARTER: Vicente Padilla (5-9, 5.45 ERA). The right-hander has given up three runs over six innings in each of his last two starts, but came away without a win each time. He has a 2.16 ERA over his last four outings, allowing 16 hits in 25 innings. Padilla is 3-3 with a 4.79 ERA in 13 career appearances, including four starts, against the Cubs
? Under is 7-2 in PHI last nine overall.
? Under is 7-1-1 in the last nine meetings.

Padres/Pirates Under7'
I like the padres here too but not sure they will score enough for peavy this should be a 3-1 or 3-2 affair either way
PADRES PROBABLE STARTER: Jake Peavy (8-4, 3.28 ERA). San Diego's ace is 1-2 with a 4.55 ERA over his last five starts, but is coming off an outstanding start against St. Louis on Wednesday. The right-hander allowed one run and two hits over eight innings, but did not receive a decision in the Padres' 2-1 win. Peavy, who has struck out 146 and walked just 29 this season, is 2-1 with a 1.69 ERA in four career starts against the Pirates.

PIRATES PROBABLE STARTER: Kip Wells (6-11, 4.65 ERA). The right-hander is 1-7 over his last nine starts, but the Pirates scored a total of just 15 runs in those games, including three shutout losses. Wells gave up two runs and four hits over seven innings in Thursday's 3-0 defeat to Florida. He's owned the Padres in his career, going 4-0 with a 2.34 ERA in five starts.
14 of 20 starts for Wells have gone under
? Under is 3-0 in PIT last three home games.

Toronto/CWS Sox-180
BLUE JAYS PROBABLE STARTER: Josh Towers (7-8, 4.60 ERA). Towers is 1-1 with a 5.86 ERA over his last five starts.
WHITE SOX PROBABLE STARTER: Garland (15-5, 3.09 ERA). Garland is 8-2 with a 2.92 ERA in 10 home starts.
Garland Career STATS vs Jays
Innings Pitched 63.2
Wins-Losses 6-1
Earned Run Average 3.25
? Blue Jays are 1-5 in their last six road games.
? TOR is 1-3 in Towers' last four road starts
? CWS are 7-3 in Garland's last 10 starts.
? Over is 8-3 in CWS last 11 overall.
? White Sox are 3-0 in the last three meetings.
1st game of series off a win
Cws 13-4
Jays 6-10

d-Rays/Rangers Texas-180
looking for the d-rays to fall off their 4 game winning streak with a thump here
this isn't a play on Young as much as it is against the d-rays and the huge disparity in offenses
DEVIL RAYS PROBABLE STARTER: Seth McClung (1-6, 6.63 ERA). McClung will be making his 24th appearance and seventh start of the season. The 24-year-old right-hander allowed three runs and four hits over six innings in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to Boston. He has no record and a 12.00 ERA in two career appearances, including one start, against the Rangers. He gave up seven earned runs over 3 1-3 innings in a 2003 start against Texas.
? TEX is 4-1 in their last five overall.
? Rangers are 8-3 in the last 11 meetings.

rockies/giants gaints-150 HUGE
the bonds news should let the giants stop looking over there shoulder and focus as a team knowing that they'll be the ones to win or lose this thing and combine that with the fact that ownership/management were actually buyers at the deadline should give these guys confidence
enough with all the pyschology though these numbers back it up as well
ROCKIES PROBABLE STARTER: Jamie Wright (5-11, 5.81 ERA). The 30-year-old right-hander was roughed up for nine runs and 11 hits over four innings in a 9-3 loss to the New York Mets on Wednesday. Wright has lost six of his last seven decisions and is 0-3 with an 8.86 ERA over his last four starts. He's surrendered six home runs over his last three starts. Wright is 2-6 with a 5.27 ERA in 17 career starts against San Francisco.

GIANTS PROBABLE STARTER: Brett Tomko (7-10, 4.90 ERA). Tomko didn't qualify for a decision after giving up two runs and five hits over seven innings in San Francisco's 4-3 loss to the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday. Tomko went 2-0 with a 3.96 ERA in five July appearances, including four starts. The veteran right-hander is 4-6 with a 4.21 ERA in 14 career starts against Colorado.
? COL is 3-8 in their last 11 road games.
? Rockies are 2-6 in Wright's last eight starts.
? COL is 1-4 in their last five overall.
? Giants are 7-3 in the last 10 meetings.

Like the angels but heavy chalk and ponson has dominated them in his career(The veteran right-hander has been brilliant in his career against the Angels, going 7-1 with a 3.84 ERA in 11 games, including 10 starts.)
however he did leave his last start after 2 and change w/a bruised thumb..so will probably lay off

hou/ariz under7'
? Under is 8-1 in HOU last nine overall.
? Under is 6-2-1 in ARI last nine overall.
ASTROS PROBABLE STARTER: Clemens (9-4, 1.46 ERA). One of his four losses this season came to Arizona on May 19, when he allowed three runs - two earned - and three hits over six innings in a 6-1 defeat. However, that start was at Minute Maid Park. On the road, Clemens has given up just two earned runs in 59 innings (0.31 ERA) and opposing batters have hit .158.

DIAMONDBACKS PROBABLE STARTER: Claudio Vargas (4-5, 5.26 ERA). Claimed off waivers from Washington on June 3, Vargas has become Arizona's most consistent starter. He's 4-1 with a 2.93 ERA in seven starts since taking over for injured Russ Ortiz in the rotation. Vargas won at Milwaukee on Wednesday, allowing six hits and a walk with six strikeouts over six innings in a 3-0 victory. He's 1-0 with a 2.16 ERA in three career appearances against Houston.
