I don't usually fall in love with any preseason games but this one has really caught my eye!


Buffalo Bills +6.5 over Indianapolis Colts
The Colts will be coming off of thier return trip from Japan in which the team should still be recovering from some serious Jet-lag :bed: after spending 28 hours in the air. Gotta believe the Bills would like to get off to a good start in the new J.P. Losman era and have quality depth at several positions including Qb where I expect to see alot of veteran QB's Kelly Homcombe and Shane Matthews while the Colts will play Jim Sorgi and former Bill Travis Brown (ouch!).

I already have a nice nugget on this one and I'm thinking about adding to it since I feel their is great value in this play.

What do you guys think??

definitely like your angles and think it could be a solid play. My main concern is that all the colts players will have a game under their belt and the bills won't. Not sure of the exact ATS record of teams that have played a game vs teams in their 1st game. But agree that bills will be looking to get a winning attitude and colts know they will be potent on offense and might be looking to avoid injuries. Even moreso if one of their starters gets hurt the previous week vs the falcons. Gl on your play.

I like the idea, but teams with rookie QB's are almost automatic go-against's for me, especially in the first 6 weeks of the season.

MY 2 cents, in pre-season look at depth. Not only are the colts going to have a game under their belt but the bills have questions at back-up RB, QB and secondary questions. I'm going to throw some action in preseason but not too. I like the jets in the preseason with not only Penny but Fiedler they have the abilty for offense.

I agree with you Irish that the Colts will have a game under their belt but they have better depth then the Colts at QB (Holcome and Matthews) vs (Sorgi and T.Brown) and their secondary is way better than the Colts and deeper too! Their backup Corners are Kevin Thomas and Jabari Greeer who are two young up and coming players and the Bills 5th round pick CB Eric King from Wake Forest has been one of the surprises at Camp So I feel their depth is better along with the othe angles I touched on.

Also, Colts WR brandon Stokley went down with an injury yesterday that will keep him out of action for much of the preseason. :clap:

I agree!

But every year there are a couple of games that I feel are betable - if their is such a word!

And the Bills +6.5 is one of them.

I hope you guys got in on the Bills +6.5 play because the line has dropped to +5 already!
