Great to be back betting FB

After going back over the preseason football results since 2001, I concentrated on all the totals
of the games.

The TOTAL of 36.5 has been a dead on UNDER to the tune of 23 unders and 3 overs the last 4 years.

Tonight the T.B. / Tenn. game total is 36.5. Keep you eyes peeled as there are other games this week that may end up on 36.5.

Let's get em, Hooks

i need some help, how do you differentiate between 36, 36.5 and 37, depending on the book they could any could fall on 36.5. for example tonight all but the minny/kc game could have fallen on any of those numbers 36, 36.5 or 37.

True what you say about totals that can be different with any number of books. If your out has a 36.5 at the time you want to put in your play, then that's what we're looking for.

i.e.- The total on the Denver/Houston game has been sitting on 37 for most of the week. When I got home at 12:05 a.m. this morning at Green Valley Ranch here in Vegas, it moved down to 36.5. if it stays there by kickoff, it's a play.

It worked in the falcons/ravens game. When I looked at it,
total was 36.5 and game went under.

Wonder how this works in regular season ?

Alot of number crunching even for pre season past 2001.

thanks

I'd suggest (purely without any research!) that it is a goer in the reg. season as well.

I've always felt that if a line opens (and stays) at 37.5 then 'over' is the play...likewise 36.5 is begging for the 'over' $, so the under is the way to go.

Some 'real' numbers would be nice tho.

Depending on the # you got, So far this preseason, 36.5 has gone:

4 - UNDERS
1 - OVER (by a 1/2 pt. :cursin: )

Since 2001 preseason : 27 - 4 !!!

I'm not sure I understand. I guess it depends at what time you make the bet and where. The 4 games you listed a few posts up only went 2-2.

The concept seems right, but it's almost arbitrary as to picking which games held to that total for the official record of the trend.

It is only preseason results. I just went back to 2001.
Listed all totals 30 points, 30.5, 31, 31.5, 32,etc., all the way to 46.
I'm sure there will be differences in lines depending where you are.
Just play UNDER when you get it at 36.5 :)
