i like the falc`s a little tonight...actually,alot...
the ravens are missing sooo many key people....jamal lewis,heap,probably ed reed,musa smith,fullback ricard,adalius thomas...dale carter,dab cody....whew....orlando brown and deon won`t play a ton...
i know the starters won`t play much anyway,but,the running back, defensive back and linebacker positions are extremely thin...they just moved jarrett johnson fron def. end to linebacker.....he`ll be lost for awhile...
add the fact that the ravens have some new main receivers in mark clayton (who just reported to camp) and derreck mason....it will take time for them to jive with boller...if they ever do...
new offensive and defensive coordinators...a new defensive scheme...
we are notoriously weak every year at signing quality rookie free agents...
falcons with a game under their belt....good,experienced qb,runningback and receiver depth...
other than tight end and wide receiver,the ravens have little quality depth...and that`s what you need in preseason...
i just love matt schaub...he is probably better than any qb on the ravens...
the ravens do have fantastic depth at tight end...darnell dinkins is very good.... as are daniel wilcox and trent smith...good receivers...
boller has to show something...anthony wright isn`t much...and darian durant and derek anderson haven`t looked good in camp...
if they get everyone back by the regular season...and stay healthy....the ravens are a very talented team....very talented....
but,a few key injuries...with their lack of depth.....and questions at qb....will kill them...
