He's in and out a bit of late. Some kind of nagging injury I think. Ozzie likes to change things up.

he is sitting out because he's about to get the bus out of town as Griffey wonder-boy comes in.
Griffey already cleared waivers.
The Sox need to have their head examined if this is the case. Rowand is fine in center field and Dye has been fine after the first month of the season. Don't mess with a good thing. Posednik coming back soon.
Williams is an idiot if they get Griffey. He can't field close to what he used to, the guy is an injury waiting to happen. His bat IMO is not much better than Dyes anymore. He's not a leader, and you don't mess with good team chemistry on a team with the best record in baseball.
