I am running a college football pick em contest on yahoo for anyone interested.
$20 entry fee, all money given back (no admin fees or whatever alot of guys steal).

Talk to the boss and get my e-mail if you want to play.

Yahoo allows 50 entries, and we have about 30 so far. (well actually penguinfan, and 29 who have a shot at winning !!)

Hey Schouest,
Could you please give an example how this works, I think I would be interested as long as you are holding the money.
As a side note, it might be a good idea if all those who want to be in this from this site, their emails would be requested by you. I think Jack is getting bombarded with these requests, and I think one request vs. 30 would be better :) JMO......

I can give a good example:

1. You pick the winner of the top 25 games each week straight up.
2. around week three Schouest is so far behind he can't catch up.

3. Someone else gets the money

Yeah kinda what LastPlace just said.

We start in week 1 of the college season. Yahoo lists like 25 or so games a week. PICK EM ALL--Most points at the end of the season wins.

1st place --50% of pool
2nd--30%
3rd--20%


We drop the scores for any 1 week (so if you miss a week or just really Penfan it up any one week, you'll still be OK).

And yeah if anyone is interested, I can dig up their addresses. I have a PAYPAL acct set up so I can use that as well if anyone wants to use that rather than a check.

still 20 spots left, so it should not fill up anytime soon !!

I already do a contest like this with my buds that I went to college with, and would be interested in joining yours too, but penguinfan said you guys pick teams straight up? That would mess with my head when researching games all week, then I have to pick differently when going SU instead of ATS.
So do you actually just do SU or is it ATS?

I agree, but Im not so sure Nebraska would win that game anyway :scared :mj07:

Yeah I have mailing addy and paypal info up on the pick em site for everyone to pony up their cash.
I sent Jack an e-mail, when I get yours I'll send you an invite...

and don't listen to penfan..it is indeed a ATS contest.

He rolls up in the short bus, so we gotta make it a little easier for him to understand...

PS. Schouest is my last name...it makes it easy to remember my login info...and that way I won't need a dictionary to spell any long words like I duno....penguin or fan or anything like that !!

I have a Neteller acct, and most of the guys are just sending checks over...no one is turned away. :clap:


Speaking of turned away, ppabart, your AOL address that I got from Jack came back returned, so I don't think you got your invite.....

Contact THE MAN and maybe he can get you in touch with me (he got me the other addys in a matter of seconds...I thought I spent too much time online..but Jack may just take the cake !)
