Taking Angels Big....

I don't bet much baseball but I like the Angels in this spot at -145. I put the bet in last night and now it is at -140 at Pinny. :cursin: Oh well.

Not much analysis into this play. I just think the Angels take this game. They also will have their best relievers available. Last couple games Angels been getting men on base with no problem, driving them in is another story. Today I think everything clicks for the Angels offense. If not, I know the Angels will have their their best relievers available in case of a close game. Although they have not been solid lately either. But I rather win/lose with the staffs best. Byrd is a quality starter. So I am confident. What sucks is this is one of the few games not televised here in SO CAL, and I am not at home with DTV. I am at my parents cabin. Oh well.

If I win this bet, I think I will parlay the winning into taking the Angels to win the west division. I don't think the A's starters will hold up in Sept. Too much pressure and too many innings. Plus A's offense isn't consistently solid.

Fishing was great, catching was the shitz. I come back to see Angels losing 6-1. What a bummer. I think I might be hanging it up for the MLB season. Think I finished a negative $750 for the entire MLB season. But most of my bets were between $10-$30 except this one. I guess MLB is not my sport. I never have won at it except for series/future bets. I am still hanging onto my $500 +250 Yankees future bet!!!!! lol

Not going to bet Angels to win west since I lost today, but if Angels sign a big time hitter, I will pound the Agnels to win the west.

Scott......Just my opinion but it would be a mistake to go against the A's.........their pitching staff is second to none and they may have the hottest closer in the game in Huston Street.......his numbers compare favorably to the Yanks Riveria.......

They have won 16 of their last 17 road games......Yikes

They were in a hitting slump but their last 4 games they have scored 9,11,4,12 runs so they may be turning the corner hitting wise.........
