what sounds in line to me.

do the math. USC plays 12 regular season games.

put 550 on no at bodog (same as under 11.5) returns 500 if they lose one or more games

put 500 on over 11.5 wins at pinnacle returns 1225 if they win all 12

usc wins 12= +675
usc wins 11 or less =-50 in juice

wheres the risk? you are risking 50 to win 675 that usc goes undefeated. pretty good odds.

if bodog upped their limits this would be a very good shot.

worm was looking for an accountant I think you got the job :mj07:

By the way, how many programs have won 60 games in the past 5 years, averaging exactly 12 wins per season.
Timmy, don't even try to pretend that this year's team can live up to those standards because they won't.

Your kids had a magical run and while they will not suck in 2005, the only reason they have a shot at 10 wins is because they only play three true road games.

I know that all you Sooners would like to see Stoops anointed as some kind of saint but the fact is that White was denied his 11th year of eligibility and you boys are going to have to accept that SOONER or later.

So Cal
Little Timmy Boy - Nice of you to come in here and teach us old timers a thing or two about football. I think with 50 posts you really don't need to come in and bash people and act like you are the football expert.

Most of the cappers here post some analysis with their opinion. Since you are the Sooner or Later guru, why don't you break down their season for us?

Tell us what you know about their offense and defense and special teams. Give us a run down on their schedule so we know their key games. Who do they play on the road, etc. That way you might get some respect around here. I am anxiously waiting for your expert analysis on what evidently will prove a banner season for the Sooners.
And I am sorry that Jason White got cut again and won't make it in the NFL. I think his arm is better suited for Arena football anyway with the short and narrow fields.

And..

What surprises you? Sounds in line to me.....

.... what does having my own website have to do with posting what i felt was valuable info? posts like this make no sense to me. i obviously do my homework, and ive made plenty of contributions to the board, even since my decision.  to your point, pinnacle and olympic dont look to be sharing your opinion that an undefeated season for usc at -130 "seems fair". what makes the bodog line even more puzzling is that they just hung that number recently, after the competition had their O/U #s up for a couple of weeks, so bodog certainly wasnt taking an educated guess at a fair price. the market was already set. im not debating whether or not usc will go undefeated. i posted because its info that can help someone create a terrific risk-free opportunity if they have accounts at these books.

First of all, I'm sorry Rex Budler and Sun Tzu if I came off being an ass which I know i did. I'm really just here to get more knowledge and push me over on games that I'm already leaning on.

I don't want to sound like I know everything, because I know that I don't, and both of you probably can cap games better than I, for all I know. I just get bitter when people try and say that OU sucks when they don't really have much to back it up on. The OB will probably end up being the biggest joke of a NC ever to come, but that doesn't take away anything from them being a good team.

As far as how their offense is going to be, well after seeing how well White's receivers look on other teams and how poor he did, its definitely starting to look like he wasn't the main reason they did so good. They still have two very good receivers in Jejuan Rankins and Travis Wilson, and now that the QB position will also be able to scramble, it should open their offense up a little more. Both Paul Thompson and Rhett Bomar will be playing, PT starting, but Bomar playing often and soon the coach announced. Both are very mobile QBs.

The defense will still be good, it was almost a blessing that Dusty Devorcek got in a fight and kicked off the team last year, because he would be playing on Sundays now, but instead back for his last year. Now that we don't have that clown Bo Pelini coaching the secondary, who was only here last year, hopefully they won't give up as much on the deep pass. I can only imagine how LSU is going to do with him and the clown from Ok State, Les Miles.

As far as their schedule goes, their toughest opponents on the road would be Texas, Texas Tech and I guess UCLA. Personally I don't see them losing to any of them. Texas has been the team with more talent for most of the past 5 losses they took, but that didn't matter.

As far as the jokes with Jason White's 11th year or whatever, he didn't even hardly play until 2003. The 12 average wins in 00 - 02 came from guys before they even started recruiting well.

Also, I never said that I think they'll go undefeated or finish in the top 5 or anything. For all i know, they'll lose their bowl game again, or the Big 12 champ if they get there, but what I don't see happening is them losing 3 games in the regular season.
Maybe a loss to TX or at TX Tech, but I think its unlikely and I don't know who else they'd lose to.

And if you think I said "As far as" 5 times too many, its because I'm pretty buzzed, which is probably why I responded to Rex and Sun's posts the way I did.

Are you really trying to state the opinion that if G has a service that his presence is no longer welcome here? Regardless of G's status, his research and analysis take a backseat to nobody. Hell, the guy just finished posting a MAC preview that is far more comprehensive than any other on the planet. I'm sure that the preview took him countless hours to complete, yet he posted here for the betterment of all.

Though I'm not sure of your motive for this post, I am sure that I'd much rather read anything off of G's keyboard ( and a handful of others), than some of the silly shit and over-hyped plays without any reasoning, that seem to find its way to find its way to this forum from some others..

It was just a question....and the line from Bodog seems right to me-IMO-(like I said earlier)...some sensitive people here....As far as his Mac preview-i just went and looked at what he posted-that is nothing that you could not get from various sources-I.E. Sportline.com etc espn.com or any magazine on any rack in the country...and being froma MAC city some of the views in that posting are way off--again IMO...lets not go overboard shall we....if he helps some of you great-good for him.....gl
