yanks are 17-6 in game one of a series after a win.
yanks are 13-4 in their last 17 over
sea is 0-3 with franklin on the mound
mariners are 2-8 in the last 10 meetings.

yanks confidence seems to be at an season high right now, as having an almost full healthy pitching staff and with the addition of womack, things seem to be coming together.

from derek jeter;

and jeter is doing his part batting 371 in his last 16 with 17 runs scored.

truth be told, im a yanks fan, and lose every time i bet on them.

Wind: 27 mph, Out to CF.

umm, wind 27 miles an hour out to cf?

had a friend who's seen a couple of games at pacbell or whatever it's called now in sf, and he says if that wind is blowing out, games usually go over.

usually.

hate that word.

like the fact that a rook is pitching for sf, and as stated in anothe post, always feel like teams want to get the win for a new pitcher.

then again, i could be wrong and b.kim pitches a shut out.

Liked that SF over as well, then checked a few stats and saw that the over is 7-11 when the wind is over 20mph :thinking: Doesn't make much sense to me.

At 27 mph blowing out, I have to think 8 is more than obtainable. The stats just don't seem logical.
