Yes, I saw the same thing....2 fat-assed female cops with smirks on their stinking faces, pushing a shopping cart full of booty.
I wrote a letter to MSNBC and urged them to report the offenders to the proper authorities....(?) whoever the hell that is!!

What a f'n mess that is down there.....chaos!

You see some of the stuff they were taking? WTF did that guy need ten fishing poles for?

Mob mentality can be scary at times.

fishing poles are one thing i could put under the justifiable category. any food, water, meds, baby care items..... you can't buy 'em, you gotta loot 'em.... fishing poles at least mean you can catch food (anywhere downtown unfortunately) ... TV's, jewelry, guns, things from homes rather than businesses, well, THOSE things i have a problem with! survival is one thing, luxuries are another at this point.

God bless the family eating fish from the water running through downtown New Orleans. If that's really his intention then my prayers go out to him.

agree blackman, it might not be the healthiest thing in the world to do right now...... but it would beat the hell out of starvation, and if fishing poles are there thing...even if it isn't for now, what are they gonna be used for other than catching food?

I just think it's people being greedy. Hell, the reporter caught that one kid taking pairs of little girls shorts and he only put them down when the reporter told him that pink wasn't his color. Maybe you can argue one fishing pole, but every one on the rack?

I agree 100% that taking a television is more egregious than some of the other items, but I bet 95% of the thieves are taking things they don't need to survive and will probably not use anyway. Just seems like a terrible situation is being compounded with this behavior.
