not only a great man, but a heck of a player, which he not always gets credit for despite being so short. Wish every athlete was like dunn.

Sean Casey of the Cincy Reds.....another one that gets it. He got all of the Reds to donate a game salary each. If every athlete would do the same, we'd be talking some big bucks!!

It is nice to see the pro athletes stepping up, Dunn asked all of the NFL players to donate 5K each, the Houston Rockets are sponsoring a drive and some of the players have taken displaced people into their homes. McNair (owner of the Texans) made a challenge pledge of 1 million and many companies in Houston are matching. There are also a bunch of volunteers, my family and I were helping last night and plan on going back today. The sad thing is I not sure if most of the people that this has occurred to understand the gravity of the situation due to being out of the loop for the last week. So it's kind of a double whammy for them first they have to sit for days in filth and deal with that and the feeling of relief once they leave, then once they start to gain their composure it starts to sink in on what has happened to their lives. It's very very humbling folks, could have very easily been Houston and my family in this situation.
