Everybody blaming everybody else

Glad they brought out the experts to get someone else to blame the Federal Government for their problems.

Yeah, I think he was just wondering why there was absolutely no security in the city after 4 days.

Is the president an expert? (well, you know what I mean)

How about the Reublican senator from Louisiana? Is he an expert?

They both said the feds failed.

The feds weren't the only ones, but they were a part of it.

I guess what I get tired of is the fact that no matter the situation, there is ALWAYS going to be blame to go around. So we can sit around and point fingers in every direction, or we can start trying to improve our situation.

So, we are all in agreement that from the bottom to the top, people and our system are screwed up. Once we get past this event, what can we do about it to make sure that our efforts are better prepared for the next event?

I just think that people are qquick to jump of Bush's back. If he would have sent ill-prepared units for this particular sitation in on the next day, then he would have also gotten chastised. It's just a never-ending cycle.

In future lets make sure that appointments to certain post deserve it. The my buddy will do a good job days have come and gone. Anyone listening to some of these folks in front of those mikes. With there explanations. Then the next group gives there. It's easy to see why there was and is problems. Left hand has no idea what right hand is doing. I hope we learn well this time.

It took them too long to get here, but they're sure haulin ass now that they are here.
CNN producer on worldwide TV said the people looked like "Zombies" carrying their belongings in grocery bags. And the combination of water, dead bodies, animals, gas-oil and sludge as a "Gumbo"
