I dont usually play a game this early prior to a game..but this one sticks out to me and im playing it now...as im not sure i will get this number later in the week...

1.) Dallas Cowboys plus 5...$100

First let me say im NOT a Bledsoe fan...as I think he makes way too many mistakes during a game ..that being said I honestly think he will have a pretty decent year this season...He is playing with a coach who already is familiar with his strengths and weaknesses ..and i think Parcells is smart enough to not ask Bledsoe to do certain things he simply just does not do well...Further, Bledsoe has a recieving corps this year that he solid ...with Glenn, Johnson and now Price in the fold its going to be interesting to see which reciever opposing teams are going to focus on...if thats not enough on offense Dalls still has one of the most underappreciated tight ends in Jason witten...if there is one thing Bledose knows it is the tight end can be a security blanket when primiary recievers are covered down field ...(see Ben Coates) ...although buffalo's TE's were decent i dont think any of them could touch what Witten brings to the table...

Now if we are looking at balance on offense i think Dallas has it this year...once julius Jones got healthy last year I think we saw a different dimension in Dallas' offense that it simply lacked prior to him returning from injury...he played in 8 games last year and had 819 Yards ..averaging 102.4 Yards per game..and 7 touchdowns...that is almots a TD per game...with him in the fold from the get go I think we will see a balanced attack from Dallas ...

all that being said ..the chargers had a solid season last year...and i am not taking anything away from that accomplishment ...but right out the "gate" (lol) teh chargers offense is at a distinct disadvantage without the services of A. Gates...who only had 81 ctaches and 13 Td's last year...L. Tomlison will be tough to stop and Brees should have a good year...but i am being dead honest when i say i cant name 5 recievers on the chargers ..i can get to three but other than those i dont know who the hell is going to seriously cause the Dallas secondary any major concerns...this is not to say however that the recieving corps wont be solid but when in week one I can only go out what I saw last season...after Gates the next leading reciever is E. Parker who had 47 catches and 4 td's ...not bad but certainly not number 1 reciever numbers...

Dallas defense was anything but spectacular last year but im banking on them (literally..lol) to be fatster at LB and Secondary and will cause breese problems without his number one guy in the mix...i think chargers will lean on Tomlinson in week one to get them through this game without Gates which is fine ...but ill take the pionts here especially when we have Schottenheimer vs. Parcells in what i think will be a close game..

thanks and good luck guys

SDF..i hear ya ...i watched Bledsoe firsthand in NE and obviously while he was in division with Buffalo...and as i stated from the outset i am not a big fan of his...but he still is a serviceable QB in todays NFL..im just hoping Parcells does not ask him to do too much and limits his mistakes to a minimum...

good luck

Nice analysis cooz, but there is a question. It's not necessarily who Bledsoe has to catch his stuff, but how good the offensive line is, in protecting him. Buffalo has/had a really bad one last year and maybe this. Bledsoe is a statue back there...can he survivive Dallas' QB protection? **That is the question!** And I'm asking you, I don't know enuff about the Cowboys. Thanks.

valid question...Yanno...

I like the fact that Cowboys went out and got marco Rivera at right guard from the Packers ..he is a tough player and will add some grit to this line..

they drafted Rob petitti from Pittsburgh who is an absolute monster at 6 feet 6 inches and 347 pounds...he is a rookie so we cant ask to much from him but he should get on the field and help out ...

Larry allen is solid and Flozell adams can be shaky but can hold his own...

The O line has some question marks I cant dispute that...the obvious counterpoint is what type of pass rush is this line and Bledose going to face?...The Chargers posted the 3rd fewest sacks in the league last year..so getting the passer was an issue for them last season....they drafted Merriman from Maryland and he is certainly going to help but I dont see them making huge leaps in the pass rush with the changes in the offseason...

In all...as i stated earlier I am not a big Bledsoe proponent ...i am banking on the cowboys being able to have some semblance of a running game which will in turn take pressure off Bledose and mitigate the stupid plays he makes every now and then...he is not going to beat SD with his feet that is for sure...im hoping he limits his mistakes and keeps them in the game...with the charger offense shorthanded i think we can stay within the points...

good luck Bro
