Use it as you will. Typically this pool is a joke. I'm playing even though I retired because im the defending champ. Think I was right around 50%..

Anyway I usually fade the two or three biggest consensus teams on here.

These guys wouldn't know a football if it knocked their wig off.

...although I avoid the NFL other than my fantasy team, I would have leans to the Bucs, Ravens and Cards. I would find it difficult to play the other 3 though...which is why vegas is vegas, huh?

...a side note: in my fantasy league, we have a side pool where everyone picks the whole NFL card ATS.... the games where everyone was on the same sides...and in each case the side of the favorite.

Yea Honestly as bad as these guys are if you put a $100 on each of their consensus games all year it would probably net you +2500.00

I usually do take the 6 most lopsided ones, and if the Giants or Jets are among them I throw them out as this is a New Jersey office pool and the bias is huge.

I than take the 3 remaining teams that i can make an argument for.
and I tease them.

7-3 so far...

Vikings were the biggest fade and they lost outright!!!

thanks, clem. i'm in a smaller pool (21 guys this week), but i use it the same way. this week's consensus plays are pitt (17 out of 21), new england (17), and atlanta (19, but we have them at +3). sounds like the plays for tomorrow are houston, carolina, and seattle. i LOVE carolina. it looks like almost everybody is on new england, but the line hasn't moved off 3.
