ugly game? i respectfully disagree, sir. that was my first big-hitter of the year. i hammered the side, and i hit the under, too. i think it was a most beautiful game.

i gotta give props to gman for turning me onto that game a week and a half ago. and the more i looked at it, the more i loved it.

LOVE LIVE THE MAC!!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Don't get me wrong, I hammered OU and the under on the halftime line so I got real well too. You are right Smitty, it was a beautiful game. Still pretty hard to comprehend how Pitt got so bad so fast.

you are kidding right?

you can't comprehend that the answer has the initials DW. Who want's to play for this guy. He can never bring the program back to the bcs scene because he is an awful coach who can't recruit, or coach a womens wheelchair basketball team. He has never won anything or done anything when he was in charge and latched on to winners of others. He's a joke of a person and coach. And no I didn't bet the game. Wannestadt shouldn't be allowed near a field. He got death threats while in chicago and online sights were all over the place to fire him in miami, I"m sure there'll be a buzz over pittsburgh starting tonight.

just partially kidding, It goes beyond D.W. The offensive coordinator Matt Cavanaugh is a joke and his entire offensive scheme was an unbelievable mess.. It is still difficult for me to believe that D W and crew could fu(k it up this badly so damn fast. perhaps I had under estimated his incompetence, Obviously The entire staff will be selling shoes for a living in the near future.

agree with what you said spang. the problem lies deeper than wannstedt. but when you put him as the face of your program you are asking for problems. pitt wanted a big name and got it. the problem is they didn't do a background check. they got a name that if you looked it up in the dictionary would have a picture of a goat. a great majority of college football is recruiting and if i was a high school senior ready ot decide and i watched the nd game and this ohio game, i wouldn't even take the free blowjob and all i can drink when i vist pitt on a recruiting trip.

You are right Dodger, ultimately it all comes down to Wannstedt, its his freaking team., and when he goes, barring a magnificent hoops season, The A.D. Mr. Long may well go down in flames with him. They botched this one about as badly as they possibly could have, and the long term effects may go far beyond the football field at Pitt.

agree with the wannstedt comments. one thing that is being overlooked though... he was an excellent defensive coordinator. people never learn though.... just because somebody is a good coordinator does not mean they will be a good head coach. normally the opposite is true. coordinators need to be X & O guys. head coaches need managerial skills. wannstedt.... well, he's not exactly a 'people person'.
