Here's hoping the 2005 season goes as good as 2004 (or better!!) Finished up my rookie year at MJ's with a 107-85-4 record (55.7% winners and +18.9 units on straight wagers for the regular season) The bowl season started out strong and went south by season's end to cut into the profits (along with those darn teasers :cursin: ) I'll try this year to keep the teasers over in the NFL where they belong and be more selective come bowl time
ytd posted plays 8-5-1
Saturday's plays.......
First of all, I like the Big 10 teams playing in their own house. I sided with ND originally but am a firm believer that a team is never as good as it's last victory or as bad as it's last defeat (even though the Wolverines won SU they played terrible... and it was only a down year Pitt team the Golden boys shined over) The way these two teams played last week should have plenty of bettors backing the Irish this week. I give the nod to the Irish in the HC department (don't care for Carr at all) but don't think Weiss can solely make that big of a difference with this team. Think the rocking in the stadium will bring home the cover for the Blue this week (plus I get a half point off at Millenium to put them at less than a TD)
100,000 plus fans and Brown vs Tressel. Case closed on this one (not really, but it's been a long day) :mj14:
Don't really like playing this many favorites....but....that's where the darts landed
Mich -6
Ohio State pk
Maryland -1
Syracuse -23-
NIU +2-
VTech -20
Iowa -8 :scared
Vandy +11
Rice +25
Troy St +10
ASU -(one half)
Also have Mich +one half point as part of an NFL tease
GL this week Jackers. Bust the Book :mj14:
