Most likely one of my largest plays all year:

ASU -1 over LSU

LSU and SEC fans alike have no idea what they are walking into here. Keep in mind, I hate ASU with a passion but the Devils take this one even if the game wasn't in Tempe.

I still wish the game was being played outside of Tempe. . . could have gotten +7 and played a nice money line.

Ohio Sate -1 over Texas

OSU's D is different than what Texas had to handle in the Rose Bowl. Expecting a very low scoring game.

Like your Ohio State play with the under, the LSU/ASU game has me totally confused as whoever I've read who has an opinion on it (either LSU or ASU) they are confident their side will win. Good luck to you Nickel.

LSU is more taelnted on both sides of the ball-If LSU gets good QB play then they will have a chance.

According to ESPN.COM, LSU QB Russell had 20 people living in his off campus housing this week, including Fats Domino...Russell says he didn't get much sleep...that has to have a negative influence on his performance

Ok, how do you know this? How do you know that your team is more talented than this ASU team? Have you seen ASU?

Drives me crazy when people think their team is more talented than another but nevermind the fact they don't know much about the other team at all.

Expect a wakeup call (most likely on the offensive end)

I have not seen ASU this year. They only played one game so far so NO i havent seen them play. I saw them play a couple of times last year but that was last year and was not impressed at all with there talent pool.

Herring might be the real deal but they played temple last week, so not a good guage of how good he is. hell you could of gained 100 yds against temple.

Im sure most people here would agree that LSU is more talented than ASU. Does that mean they will win the game? Hell no it doesnt.

On the surface LSU may look more talented. . . . on defense, yeah, LSU gets the nod. But on offense I believe you will see completely the opposite tonight.

Think that PHX heat wil get to LSU? How long has LSU been in town for? I think LSU has a little extra to be playing for so I'm staying away here, but good luck Nickel!

I agree with ageecee that LSU has more "talent". I think that is undeniable...they have had top ten recruiting classes several years in a row and simply have bigger, stronger, faster guys. This ASU team looked great last week and catch LSU in a good spot (hurricane/at home). The line seems to good to be true and you know what that usually means...however, my feeling is that an emotional LSU team refuses to lose a close contest

Heat will be a non-factor, as I find Zona to be far more comfortable than humid SE Louisiana in September.

Nickel--
I am a displaced resident of New Orleans and an LSU Alumnus. Although I have wagered against LSU regularly in the past, I feel that my thoughts on this game may be skewed by my emotional attachment to the situation.

An LSU W would be huge for this area, and the players are fully aware of what is riding on them. Too much pressure for these young guys.

I like the under because LSU passing game may have trouble executing, and I feel LSU D will put up a strong effort.

LSU has as many WR and RB weapons as any team in the nation. According to current ASU DC, LSU O line physically wore down and dominated his FLA D last season. I wonder how ASU's front compares physically against the Gators. LSU may be able to blow open a close game late if they are mentally up for this challenge.

ASU has a clear edge in decision-making at the QB spot. In a tight game, ASU gets the nod in my opinion.

If LSU heads are right, I feel they win a 27-17 type game, led by a solid ground attack.

Nickel,

Was hoping to see a line on the UofA NAU game tonite, though I understand why there isn't one. Last week was a tough loss though I like what I saw and who knows maybe we can make a toilet bowl?

Add some more coin on ASU +3 second half. . . again, I believe they are the better team even if this game isn't played in Tempe
