As good as Dontrelle Willis has been this year, the
Astros look like a bargain tonight. They've been at
their best in home games vs. lefthanders (12-3,
+$780 with 5.9 runs per game) while the Marlins
check in with a 25-29 (-$730) mark on the road vs.
righties. Brandon Backe is not among the elite of
the Houston mound corps, but the Astros have won
all six of his night starts in this ballpark (+$610, 2.90
ERA). We're taking a fat price under generally favorable
prices with one of the best home teams in MLB. Much
to good a scenario to pass up.

I have about 18, 900 less posts than you do Raymond and I like to follow your picks so I hope you don't mind my .02 here.

I like taking the Stro's at home, especially as dogs. However the second game off the DL can sometimes be a bad stumbling block for starters. Also Backe is anything but back in form, tossing 71 pitches he lated only four innings and surrendered three runs on three hits, while walking three batters. Also Willis is 16-2 when priced at -130 to -190 this season producing a nice profit for his backers. I really respect your capping a lot, and I am not to happy we are on opposite sides here, but Astro's as a +150 dog looks to good to be true in my eyes. I hope it's a good game at least, will be watching before MNF goes off. Good luck.
