I am really suprised they did not make a move to get another LH bat for their lineup, must have had a lot of faith in Finley. Either old age finally caught up to him, or maybe he is one of the juicers that stopped?
Also, I don't think K-rod has been right since shortly before the Oakland game where he dropped that ball. His velocity is down, and he keeps throwing that slider, and it don't have the same bite right now. Kinda hold my breath with him in the game and it is on the line.

byrd had only thrown 81 pitches and the two he gave up were slop .... you are right tho, they shoulda come up with somethng in 9th, DP to 3rd and throw out at home/3rd rundown, was crusher
