Despite the shortcoming of TCU's game, which includes offensive stagnance and poor pass defense, we'll look for the Horned Frogs to get it together on their home field tonight. TCU is a solid 8-2 ATS at home against .600 or better opposition. TCU QB Tye Gunn should settle in here; after all, he's 11-3 SU as a starter and has a former 1000+ yard rusher (Merrill) to take some of the pressure off. And the TCU offensive line is not as bad as everyone will lead you to believe. On the other hand, Utah remains a solid team under defensive minded first year head coach Whittingham. But offensively they're not nearly as explosive as last year's top notch bunch. TCU's pass defense should remain quite improved over last year's inexperienced squad. Take the Horned Frogs and be a winner!
