The Blue Jays bats have been coming around a bit as of late as they have average over 5.5 runs per game on offense in their last 7 games. Tonight they will face the 'Big Unit' Randy Johnson. Johnson has had his share of problems on the road this year with an ERA of 4.82 and the Yankees going 4-9 in his road starts. Johnson has also struggled against the Blue Jays this year as he has lost both starts, giving up 7 ER and 21 baserunners in 13 innings of work. Bush has been pitching very well lately as he has given up 2ER or fewer in each of his last 6 starts, giving him an ERA of 1.86 over that stretch. Bush will be making his fifth career starts against the Yankees tonight and so far in his career he has an ERA of 1.95 and a WHIP of 1.08 against them as a starter.
I don`t expect this to be a popular play in the forum..
But Johnson is 4-6 on the road this season...
Plus lots of favorites have been going down the drain the last few days from what i see. :flush:
I think the Jays will make it interseting tonight..
