Be careful with that So. Carolina play.... I have Bama by 8. I'm not trying to talk you out of the play, but don't put too much stock in the Georgia game last weekend. Good luck this week.

Warning noted! ;)

I'll try and put up some write-ups on my plays. I really like S. Carolina and I am tempted to make it a 5 unit play. No offense to you but I hope people keep betting Alabama. Original line was S. Carolina -1. This is the classic type of game where books make $$$.

South Carolina was a HORRIBLE pick. :mj16: Wow, did I handicap that game wrong. Props to Alabama anybody who took Bama. (Arrow :)) I put fawking 7 units on that $hit pick. [/B] :padlock:

?and I don?t get no love, but Arrow does? :scared :mj07: :)

Yep you warned me and I accidently left you out. Actually, I was testing to you to see if you actually read my posts! ;)

Man that was a horrible pick on South Carolina. But losing that way sure beats losing a game that you capped well. I did a poor job with this one. Congrats on your win!

I am looking at the lines this week and I don't like what I am seeing. Not too many games I like. Might only have 3 plays this week. :( But maybe that is the key to a monster weekend! :) I want to get at +10 units but I'll be happy if I finish the season +4 units or more. Hpwever, I wouldn't rule out me getting to +50 units! That is my ultimate goal but I am not getting the breaks. Fawking refs!

Scott what are you thinking about USC this week. I've played them 4 times already against Oregon. I'm tempted to add some more.

Whats your future wager on USC?? How much and what odds?

I have $22,000 @ Pinnacle on USC to win the National Championship at +190, +188, and +183 odds.

I have $3,000 at +232 USC winning over 11.5 games (pinnacle) USC has to win all all their regular season games and I win my bet.

I have $750 at +250 odds at Betroyal that I made weeks after USC beat OU in Orange Bowl.

If I am going to lose my bet, I think it will be this weekend or next. USC suffered major injury to their #2 DB last week. Carroll must earn his paycheck these next 2 weeks. Will be very difficult and I am afraid USC might have to win in a shoot out. Then again, NOBODY in the country has an offense that comes close to USC's offense. So you have to LOVE USC's chances in any shootout. Problem is these next 2 games are on the road. Oregon and ASU have excellent passing attacks. USC also lost their starting LB for 2 weeks, the only LB with experience! :( But I am not too concerned about that. Only 2 positions USC doesn't have depth and that is DB and DT. :cursin:

My initial opinion is this. I will need time to cap and see what goes on during week.

USC offense will score over 30pts. USC prob. will score over 40pts. USC offense may score over 50.

Oregon offense will score over 20pts against USC. Oregon prob. will score over 30pts. Oregon won't score over 40.

With this injury to USC's #2 DB, I think the USC D will have a tough time playing on the road against spread offense. Oregon has NFL talent on offense. The WR corps are almost as good as USC's. Very close. USC has 1 solid DB (Wyat), Walker is now the starter and he is average, 3rd DB is complete UNKNOWN. USC had 3 talented DB's but all are true freshman. Good luck! Not good situation for USC. But I will tell you this. Carroll in year 1, 2, and 3 NEVER had great DB's. So there is some hope! :)

I have to see how practices go and players step up. Remember, Carroll practices 1's vs 1's so practices are always tougher than games. So we will get a good read on how they are performing against USC's stud WR corps.

Right now, I think vegas should have USC -10.

One plus for USC. Oregon has not played USC in 2 years. 3 years ago USC went to Oregon and kicked their a$$. Now why is this important? While the rest of the Pac 10 knows what talent USC is bringing to the game, Oregon has no clue. USC is a completely different team now vs 3 years ago. Faster, bigger, deeper etc. Oregon def. will have to adjust playing against USC because they never have played a team this fast and talented. They are not familiar with USC at all. I think that is big advantage for USC.

DON'T FORGET, Oregon has a secondary that is horrible against the deep pass. I don't know if they are worse than Arky, but USC will have success throwing deep. For some reason Oregon gives up big pass plays all the time. Oregon DL is very good and they have the #1 DT in the country Ngata.

You wanna know something scary? USC's 2nd team offense and 3rd team offense moved the ball against the 1st string defense of Arkansas. USC went almost 6 deep at certain positions against Arky. Arky played 1st string D all game.

Arkys defense is terrible. They are the worst team in the SEC. Vandy beat them for crying out loud.

Didn't Vandy beat Ole Miss? It will be interesting to see how the Arkansas defense plays against the SEC offenses. Good test will be this Sat. against Alabama but Arky team has to be down on themselves getting upset by Vandy and getting blown out by USC.

If Vandy sucks, Arky sucks, then Ole miss has to be in that category along with Kentucky. Don't forget Miss. St. Where does South Carolina stack up? They looked horrible on Sat. AT HOME! That is half the SEC!

I agree the first five SEC teams you mentioned all suck. This is the worst SEC conference in years. South carolina will be good but not this year. Give Spurrier another year..

Mr. Hockey

I started capping the USC/Oregon game and now I am leaning towards USC. I am prob. not going to wager on USC since I already have them to win every game but I think it is a good bet. I'll post a write-up later!
