On the course!
This country is like a Jenga puzzle. Each administration pulls another stick from the faltering tower, and hopes the next guy makes it fall.

Right can point to Left, and Left at Right............it makes no difference who is in office, because they are not in charge.

I'm glad I have less than 40 expected years to go in this life........

Nice post Ediie. I always look forward to reading your posts.
DTB, I have been over my poistion so many times even I am getting sick of them. Not sure which of the "TRUES" you want to go on about. And while you are at it show me proof that I said Clinton was a man of character?

man, I already regret getting in this thread, you guys just get more visicous by the post. I think there is a middle ground between all this stuff as usual, and I'm glad to see StevieD stating he never said Clinton was a man of character because he certainly was not, at least in my opinion, he is a liar. Bush however should be doing things differently too, he can't only think about those who are fortunate to have money. The country just can't keep spending the way it is without serious repercussions on all of us, especially those who have nothing already. I think Bush has some character. I think Carter was a man of great character, but it didn't make him a good president. The war has cost us many lives, but it has saved some too. Those who could not defend themselves against Saddam, and possible further attacks against the US, maybe. Nobody can answer this question for sure, we are all just guessing. I can only hope and pray the leader of the country does what is best for all of us in the world. The right will always blame the left and the left will always blame the right. Always has been that way, always will be that way. Ray, thanks for the laugh, that was a great line. :mj07:

Seriously, I believe it depends on how you define character (please no "is" isms). Believe it or not, some of us over her in the other America, while not condoning cheating, lying to your wife about a blow job and trying to cover up your misgiving to the public find our current commander in chiefs conduct much more grievous and "lacking in character" than Billy boys private misconduct.

The problem with this country is the majority of Americans buy into the fluff. They want to believe America does no wrong and we act for altruistic reasons. Frankly, I would have been more impressed with Bush had he just come out in the beginning and said were invading Iraq for the oil. At least it would have been truthful.

When I look at Bush, all I see is a puppet on a string. Americans always love the rough and tough cowboy. Thats the image this guy is trying (sucessfully I might add) to project. My sister in law, Christian righty, when I asked her who she was going to vote for said, "the moral man." She voted for Bush.

Thats what he projects but the reality is tens of thousands dead, Bin Laden still alive, spending cuts for projects while not raising taxes for the rich to fund his war when tens of thousands of Americans, let me repeat that, Americans need help here and now.

Arrogance, bullying, favoritism, photo ops, death, stupidity, loss of rights, cronyism, religous intolerance define this administration. Character in form not substance. This guy is like the Atkins diet, very fashionable at one time but history shows its a failure.

Someome really blew this last one for him. Whoever told him don't worry go to Califronia and spend the day on SS was dead wrong. Mean while N OR was going under fast. Gulf Port was gone. Bush Should be Smart enough to have said cancel that trip head to the big house. Then to brag im cutting my vaction short by two days. Who gives a flying FK.
It was to late to look like a leader. Now trip after trip to the area
to play catch up has just proved that point. His number just keep
dropping.

...birds of a feather...lol

Eddie failed to mention that Bush liberated 50,000,000 people from terrorist dictatorships. He is so concerned with the "10's of thousands that he says 'Bush is responsible for killing'", but fails to mention the 400,000 that Saddam Hussein killed. Those people wound up in shallow graves after being executed. Why don't liberals suport freedom and democracy?????? Why don't they support the removal of someone who commited mass genocide????? This is the liberal of today and their anti-Bush political agenda is more important than the freedom and democracy that we are trying to bring to others. WE KNOW THAT TO BE A FACT!

Bush also removed the 3 largest weapons of mass destruction in Iraq....Saddam and his 2 sons!!!!! Just another thing that liberals fail to mention. Hell I could go on and on but why bother? It's better to sit back and watch you guys whine, complain, and cry everyday and look like anti-American jackasses. :) KEEP IT UP!!!

Eddie, I think there is more than a blow job at issue with Clinton. I think he also lied about Rawanda which led to some estimates of close to a million people being killed. I don't blame Clinton for all of it but he had a role which he never owed up to. I agree with you Bush needs to take care of some issues here at home and he definitely has a bias for big industry and those who already have the money. The president, whoever it is, has a responsibility to all people, rich or poor. And I know some of you won't like this but we as Americans have a responsibility to everyone else in the world. We account for what 15% of the world? And what percentage of the world resources do we use, 70%? I'm guessing, but I've seen higher numbers, but I'm sure they were biased. I agree that there are many unjust things about this war and I'm not sold that the war was the answer as killing others in Iraq only brings us down to their level. I myself just don't know how just this war is. Is it self-defense, It may be about oil as we haven't jumped into other situations where maybe we could have. How thin do we spread ourselves? I'm not saying I have any answers, only there are legit questions on both sides. I hear a lot of positives from soldiers in the war, including my brother. But every war has negatives and nobody wants to see people killed. I can understand your view on Bush and how he comes across evil. I hope you can see my view on Clinton. Clinton is history, Bush is now and should be the focus. While neither one of us condone cheating on our wives, I do value many of the things that the so called moral majority value and I will usually vote along with them, although I agree they get extreme sometimes. That is just me. My problem with many of the democrats ideas is they think throwing more money at an issue will solve it. Government is too wasteful and red tape to work efficiently to really solve problems and help those who really need it. I think they should just give it directly to places like the red cross who are set up specifically to deal with this stuff such as New Orleans. I think FEMA was a joke at a time when we really needed action, not finger pointing.

Hey Manson you have nerve showing up in this thread and crying because eddie said some bad things about your butt boy. Seems to me you were called out earlier in this thread to back up some of the crap you say. Well big boy here is your chance. Ferd and Dawgball are men enough to back up their positions, now it's time for you to take your shot. Wipe the tears from your eyes and take advantage of this opportunity.

I have "nerve" showing up in a thread? WTF? Do you own this chatroom now??? lol ...And why do you have to over-dramatize things so much?? Nobody is shedding any tears except you. It's only a message board kiddo. That's all you do is whine and cry all day then hypocritcally blame others for doing it. You're just mad becase I'm right.

I've been backing up my position in the politics room for about 2 years. Are you new here or something?? What are you referring to specifically?

(and can you try to gain a little composure and chill out with the constant angry pissy whining and name-calling?)

Hey Manson, you need to ask me permission before you come into MY threads in the future. I am extremely upset that you have chosen to use the name of a sick, degenerate killer. I find that in very bad taste and it offends me to no end. I don't have the mental capacity to sepatI believe everyone in here should use their real name and not separate fact from fiction so please refrain from using that vulgar moniker. I hereby call on you to change your name to something else -maybe Happy Face; Silly Boy; Make Love Not War; Peaceful Dreams; Have a Good Day; Love Is All I Need - you know something catchy like that.

Manson again you didn't answer the call. I guess your shooting blanks.

"Manson, you can feel free to find me a post where I take a situation and I say I can imagine, or I see, or I dreamed that Bush said this or did that in a situation where everyone knows he didn't. Come on wise guys, here is your chance. Neocon liars."

In case you have trouble seeing thru your tears I reposted my challange. Put up or shut up.
