Seriously, I believe it depends on how you define character (please no "is" isms). Believe it or not, some of us over her in the other America, while not condoning cheating, lying to your wife about a blow job and trying to cover up your misgiving to the public find our current commander in chiefs conduct much more grievous and "lacking in character" than Billy boys private misconduct.
The problem with this country is the majority of Americans buy into the fluff. They want to believe America does no wrong and we act for altruistic reasons. Frankly, I would have been more impressed with Bush had he just come out in the beginning and said were invading Iraq for the oil. At least it would have been truthful.
When I look at Bush, all I see is a puppet on a string. Americans always love the rough and tough cowboy. Thats the image this guy is trying (sucessfully I might add) to project. My sister in law, Christian righty, when I asked her who she was going to vote for said, "the moral man." She voted for Bush.
Thats what he projects but the reality is tens of thousands dead, Bin Laden still alive, spending cuts for projects while not raising taxes for the rich to fund his war when tens of thousands of Americans, let me repeat that, Americans need help here and now.
Arrogance, bullying, favoritism, photo ops, death, stupidity, loss of rights, cronyism, religous intolerance define this administration. Character in form not substance. This guy is like the Atkins diet, very fashionable at one time but history shows its a failure.
