Is this a little of a homer play?

You better believe it!

Am I more inclined to make this move because of the beautiful final score in the Redskin game?

Maybe.

Do I consider the next two games the White sox season?

If they can win them both then all is good. If they win tonight and lose tomorrow, things aren't horrible. If they lose tonight and HAVE TO win tomorrow, things suck big time.

I don't see the White Sox getting swept. I will play them small tonight and chase tomorrow if I need to.

I also think something can be taken from the White Sox coming back from a 4-0 deficit and taking the lead against the best starting pitcher in the AL. Damaso puked out of the pen, but it was the White Sox game for the taking. I also think Ozzie didn't have one of his best nights at the helm.

Beurhle has done well against Cleveland and Westbrook hasn't done well against the Sox. I would normally never make a play in this situation(awefully low line IMO, trap central), but will here seeing as all may be lost if they get swept this series considering each teams schedule the rest of the way out. Most likely a small play on the over as well. Like the Sox chances from the plate. If they were to lose, it would be a higher scoring affair IMO.

BTW

I will be at tonights game. Any Chicago baseball team I go see usually generally wins at a 90% clip.

Nothing but all the facts above. :)

The best starting pitcher in the AL? Wow, man, you are delusional, at best. Get real. :mj07:

The White Sox are choking their guts out. Buerhle has been awful of late and probably will be awful tonight. The Sox will have to score at least 5 to win tonight. GL, though, I will be rooting for you!!

Not that I really give a sheit....

And I'm probably not correct on any of this.......

But I think no pitcher in the AL that has pitched in nearly as many games as Millwood has a better ERA. I also think nobody in the AL has a better ERA since the break, except maybe the rookie Crain kid. I think no pitcher in the AL that has pitched in nearly as many games as Millwood has given up LESS earned runs in total.

The simple fact of the matter is if Millwood got anywhere near the RUN SUPPORT that the current "top" pitchers numbers wise (wins etc), he would EASILY be leading the pack. Cleveland doesn't score squat for him.

GL on your action

Since July 12th, the AS break, Millwood has given up 24 earned runs in 13 games. Highly doubt anybody has done better in the AL.
