Michigan -2.5 over Wisconsin: After watching both teams in their first three games, I am convinced that Michigan will cover the small road chalk. Wisconsin's offense will not give Michigan a lot a problems and the Wolverines seem to have corrected some of their major weaknesses over the last few weeks. Wisky's defense may have some trouble, though, if Michigan can stay healthy up front. Max Martin showed some good running ability last week (I know it was against EMU, but still...) and Henne showed that he is willing to run with the ball instead of forcing a pass. Remarkably, Michigan's special teams haven't cost them anything this year. Their kicking game has been solid and it will need to be in Madison. Look for Michigan to use their offensive balance to consistently move the ball against an average Badger defense and for the Michigan defense to come up with enough big plays to protect the lead.

Love Michigan as well, Wisky wayyyy overrated...if BG could have stopped the run just a TAD, they would have smashed the Badgers...love the UM play

NW/Penn St.

NW/Penn St.

Penn St. should have no problem putting points on the board against a weak Northwestern defense ranked 166th in the nation. But the key is getting points from the Mildcats. I like this offensive team. They have a good quarterback/running combination and good balance. They have scored 97 points against Ohio, Northern Illinois and Arizona St. Now, none of these teams are even close to Penn St.'s caliber on defense, but because of their rotten defense, NW should get enough possessions to score some points.

FAU/ULM under 42: Florida Atlantic will be pleased to finally play someone they can pound on the ground. ULM will be happy to keep the score down after being pummelled last week by Georgia. Don't watch this game without the benefit of welders goggles because it is going to be ugly. The Sun Belt is bad this year, even by Sun Belt standards. FAU controls the clock in the second half and wears down ULM's defense to get an opening Sun Belt win.

Gametime total is 44.5

Division I-AA Picks

Division I-AA Picks

Hampton -17 over Morgan St.: This game is being played in Giants Stadium and Hampton has owned Morgan St. at this location. They also have a 9 game regular season winning streak. With their high-scoring offense, they will easily cover the 17. I have the game lined at 31.

Bethune Cookman -16.5 over Norfolk St.: I don't normally like to lay double-digit road chalk, especially in the MEAC, but Bethune Cookman is definitely the better team. Norfolk St. respects the program so much that they hired BC's defensive coordinator as head coach. But you need players to copy another program's success, just ask Romeo Crennel.

E. Washington +3.5 over Idaho St.: The wrong team is favored here. Idaho St. is an up and coming program and played a close game with Kentucky but they are not ready to take on the powers of the Big Sky. Don't be misled by Idaho St.'s rushing defense stats. They were able to jump out to 1st half leads in their two wins and forced the opponents to pass. My line is EWU -14 so I will gladly take the points.

Jacksonville St. -7 over SEMS: Two winless teams looking get an Ohio Valley Conference win. Jacksonville has been much more competitive in losing three close games. SEMS is weak defensively and will be trying a new QB to try to change things up. It won't help. JSU by 21.

Also looking at Wagner against Marist in the MAAC. If the line gets to 3, I'll take Wagner. I think they are the better team but I want the hook. Of course, there is not a lot of line movement with these added games.

Final two plays:

Final two plays:

Louisville -12.5 (1st half) over S. Florida: Louisville should run out to an early lead but may get victimized by a backdoor cover on the road.

Michigan -1.5 (1st half) over Wisky: Wolverines have handled Wisky during Lloyd's tenure and his tendency on the road in the Big 10 is to play aggressive early and then sit on it. I like Michigan to be up by at least a FG at half and then hang on in the last few seconds of the game.
