Never too early for a peek at next week. Lets check out the menu, shall we?

TEN @ STL -6.5
Inflated line. Titans or nothing.

--------------------

OAK @ PHI -6.5
6.5 ??? GIMME GIMME (Jamaica)
Another team that could win by 21+ (No not the Faders LOL) EAGLES !!!

--------------------

CIN -3 @ CHI
Bungholes favored on the road, again? Hmmm.

-------------------

JAX @ NYJ
Jags may be worth a look depending on the line.

-----------------

NOR @ MIN
Vikings on the verge of going 0-3? Lordy Lordy.
It just may happen when the Saints come marching in.

----------------

CAR -3.5 @ MIA
Panthers maybe flat & be ripe for the pick'n.(against)

----------------

CLE @ IND -13.5
Indy could win this by 21+

---------------

ATL @ BUF
Bills tough @ home. "D" just maybe the difference here.

---------------

ARI @ SEA -6.5
Cards cost me my 1st loss of the season. They were inside the 12 no less than 4 times without a TD.

--------------

TB -3 @ GB
Green Bay getting points at Lambeau? Are they really that bad to lose 2 in a row @ home & go 0-3?

--------------

NE @ PIT -3
Patriots suffered their 1st loss of the season also. I called it, as did a few MJers, but didn't play it. A bounceback here? Homey don't think so.

--------------

DAL @ SF
49ers blow. Plain & simple. Cowboys or nothing barring any injuries on MNF & of course the opening line.

--------------

NYG @ SD
The 0-2 Chargers (I love saying that) need a win badly & will get it here. Unfortunately.

=======

KC @ DEN -3
Don't even want to look @ this game. Yet.

I reckon it's a deflated line! :D

Titans being over-rated after an "upset" win they had no right to be 'dogs in.
They stacked the line to stop the run and watched Wright fumble and bumble his way through the first half....and even then they scored from short field and an INT return.

Rams roll in their home opener. :mj14:

The Lions held Green Bay to just three points opening week, the Packers? lowest total since 1992. Now what happens when the Packers go against a real defense? With a weakened offensive line, no Javon Walker and a porous defense, there?s not much aging gunslinger Brett Favre can do. The Packers have their weakest guard tandem in the Favre era, and no deep threat to stretch the defense with Walker sidelined for the season. The Bucs led the NFL in pass defense last year. They have an outstanding pass rush headed by Simeon Rice. True, the Packers played the Lions at Detroit, where they usually struggle inside a dome. But there?s no explanation or excuse for losing to the Browns at home. You have to seriously wonder about the Packers? morale at this point. Green Bay has defeated Tampa Bay 13 straight times at Lambeau Field. But while that looks impressive on paper, the Bucs covered a majority of those games (7-5-1 ATS). Keep in mind, too, that the last time the teams met in Green Bay was 2001. It?s too early for cold weather to factor here. The Packers are just 2-9 ATS their last 11 home games. The Bucs are 2-9 ATS on road grass, but coming off a confidence-building road victory opening week against the Vikings and home win against the Bills. The Bucs? rebuilt offensive line has played surprisingly well. The Packers? defensive line doesn?t present a dangerous challenge. Bucs quarterback Brian Griese has been quietly efficient. He?s thrown at least one touchdown pass in 12 of the last 13 games. Griese has two good wideouts, Mark Clayton and a revitalized Joey Galloway, plus a promising rookie tailback in Carnell Williams. The Bucs have the weapons on offense to beat Green Bay, plus they have a much superior defense

Rams roll in their home opener

Roughly translated = I think the Titans are bad. Rams have looked bad, but 2 road games, on grass...imo, they will win and cover the spread in the home opener. ;)

S.L. 8-1 in non-conference home games in Sept.

The only lock this week will be the one Larry Johnson is put behind....oh, crap, it's postponed! :D

Not only that but Martz is 14-2 ATS as a HF off division play as well as 10-2 ATS as a HF vs the AFC.

However the Titans are currently on a 21-1 ATS run as non-division dogs off a SU win by more than 3 pts.

Not so fast with the TB play.

Ask yourself how many times the Packers have been pegged as HD since 1992?

(hint....3-times)

Now what's GBs record in those rare instances?

(nudder hint...3-0 SU & ATS)

Not an easy game as it may first appear.

PS... that win over the Vikes wasn't impressive in the least bit.

Oh and before that game TB was 0-8 ATS run on the non-division road.

I may just fade this affair but then again ? :brows:

I agree, the Pack is horrendous. We get Directv and my friend is a huge Pack fan and we watch everyone of their games. They are just a terrible team right now. No offensive weapons and their DEFENSE is piss poor!!

GB @ home currently getting 3.5

Ya like OK they blow. We ALL Agree. TB is too obvious of a play. Who in their right mind would bet GB ?
Surely the linemakers have also thought the same. ;)

So Ray we should only bet the good teams? And if we do good things will happen?

I like GB +3.5
If Favre didnt throw the pick in the left corner of the endzone I think they beat CLE. But that's the way he plays. he takes chances.

He is not going to keep turning the ball over and i think a. green will get back on track this week.

On tampa side if they keep putting all that milage on their Cadillac he is going to break down before the season is over.

Minnesota beat themselves rather than the other way around. Culpepper cant hold onto the ball. the last TD was trash time.

They did beat Buf soundly but Losman didn't look like he knew what the hell was going on. Favre will be much more productive
