I have not bet a baseball game in awhile,but i think i see something i like here with the Giants.

Giant pitcher Matt Cain....
Only 20 yrs old has 4 starts since being called up from the minors on 8/28..

He is 2-1 with a complete game win...
In 4 starts he has not given up more then 2 earned runs or 3 hits in either of his 4 starts which includes 27 innings of work.

This bet has alot to do with Nats pitcher Livan Hernandez..

This guy has thrown so many pitches this season and i think it has caught up to him.He has had games early in the season where he threw 130,131,150,127,136,145,just to name a few.

Since the all star break he is 3-3 ...4.61 era and a .314 BAA

August he was 1-2 ...6.69 era....367 BAA
Sept he is 1-1...4.51 era

So let`s take a shot with the young kid versus the veteran with the possibility he has the dead arm syndrome.(LOL)

Believe it or not i am serious about that dead arm stuff :)
