Watched both n.e. games and this team is very beatable. I think right now i would lean towards pitt with the way their d is shutting people down with the pass, and the pressure their putting on the quarterback. Brady was not sharp today, and last year we know what happened during the regular season. I do look for a lower scoring game this time around.

Have to agree with arrow here. I think this game is a mirror image of last year. Pitt in a blowout. I think this is the start of the pats slide. I am not even sure if the pats make the playoffs this year. So far in both of their games they have not been impressive at all.

Whoa, whoa, WHOA. Before anyone stars touting the Pitt defense lets look at who they played and how things happened. Houston ran up 280 yard on that defense and turned the ball over in Pittsburgh territiory twice and failed on a 4th down conversion.

In the second half of the game Houston moved the ball down the field with little resistance.

In week one against Tenn the Steeler D again gave up almost 100 yards rushing (98) and over 200 yards passing. They benefited from three turnovers (maybe a sign of good defense) while the offense did not turn over the ball, and didn't against the Texans.

That defense gave up decent amounts of yards to two offenses that will prove to be less than spectacular by week 16 with neither team likely going to the playoffs.

While giving up only 7 points in each game is impressive, I think it's also a bit misleading.

As long as the offense continues to click and they don't turn the ball over putting the defense in bad position I think the Steelers can win and cover this game, but turnovers will tell the tale in this game I think.

Patriots +3 ... the Steelers ripped them a new one last year during the regular season and I see New England coming focused and ready to not be embarrased again. The Steelers on the other hand have beaten up on 2 of the weaker teams in the league. I think the Pats D scheme will come up with something to make Big Ben and the Steeler offense struggle and keep it close. I'd consider buying the hook.

Pittsburg's offense seems more potent with Fast Willie Parker. It forces teams to play "contain" instead of just stacking between the tackles. It will be interesting to see what the genius comes up with for a game plan this week... The Steelers have great team speed right now, and can put up points in bunches....

hey penguin, a lot of the yards that steelers opposition is getting are garbage yards in the end (minus the first ten. drive of course)...

if carolina and stephan davis can get three rush tds, i think the pittsburgh o-line is at the top of their game right now, with parker hitting the lanes quicker or getting outside, could be another big day for the steelers running game.....

i love pitt. they are playing very solid, mistake-free football right now. new england is not. and pitt will be 'up' a lot more for this game than they were for the first 2. i loved carolina yesterday, and i love pitt this week. i don't think you can realistically expect a blowout, but pitt matches up very well against NE right now and should beat them soundly. remember, NE has not dominated in recent years with superior talent. it's been coaching and a 'team first' attitude. they feasted on other teams making mistakes. that won't happen this week against pitt. final score pitt 23-10.

I`m a contrarian that likes to bet against streaks. A rookie QB wins 16 league games with no losses. It`s time to start fading him IMO. I loved Carol. last week as I could see N.E. looking towards this week even tho it`s only week three. A conf. win is important for tie breakers later on. I`ll take the Pats this week. Just another opinion. :)

hopefully ****** and company will keep throwing the blitzes at ne, cause if brady has time he could pick pitt apart...unfortunately for ne fans, i do think that the steelers will get to brady early and often...

close in the first half with pitts pulling away in the end 24-13...

by the #s .... Pats Dillon has rushed 37 times for 99 yards ... the Pats are 47/112 in two games rushing .... Pitt has surrendered 210 yards rushing in 2 games ... Pitt's avg. scoring margin 23.5 per game; Pats are at 0 .... Big Ben still hasnt lost a reg. season start
