I copied this from another site...

Consider these numbers: Dating back to Game 4 of LAST year, Bowling Green has been held under 40 exactly one time. Their points that time? 38! Bowling Green scored 42 in week one this year vs. Wisconsin. Since that game, the Badgers have given up only 5 points in two games and two of them were on a deliberate safety. As for Bowling Green's defense, it has given up 87 points in two games this season including a shocking 31 to Ball State. Ball State was shut out in its two other games!!
Want more? Boise is unstoppable on its weird blue home field, averaging 49 points per game last year at home. How many will they score tonite against BG's awful defense? Boise plays its first home game after losing to far superior competition on the road. They'll score at will tonite. So will BG because BG always scores at will. BG's QB Omar Jacobs is awesome and has incredible stats (4000pass yards last year and a zillion already this year). Boise's QB, Zabransky, is also a veteran and he threw for 2900 last year. I honestly think these two teams may go over 100 tonite.

Over 77 3 units.

A zillion yards, that's impressive :tongue

My only concern would be that Boise does play better defense at home, and only two games in the past two years on the Smurf turf have eclipsed the number 77 (In those games Boise scored 53 and 77 on their own). Should be an interesting game, both teams can hit for and give up the big play, but I don't know if Dan Hawkins is going to let this become a track meet, because they are playing a team that could beat them at their own game. I could see more ball control for Boise than usual.

Good luck with the play, just trying to talk out the other side on this one and see if either makes sense.

If you play the over there needs to be a TD scored every 5:45 of the game on average.

Gibbers concensus place shows 69% on the OVER so far.

Well, If it is going to be done, this will be the game to do it.

Odd stat:

There have already been 15 games go over the 76 point margin (which is the O/U now) this year in just the first 3 weeks.
