They say he hit his head on turf, got knocked unconscious ans stopped breathing. Crazy thing is, it's a family affair. Family members are also working the sidelines.

As a segway - why do we still have chains? Computer chips etc would seem to be much better ways to do this.

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) -- A member of the sideline crew at the Oregon State-Arizona State football game Saturday night was knocked unconscious and taken off the field in an ambulance after being knocked down and hitting his head on the turf.
Swede Clappe, who works on the chain crew, was taken to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. He was alert and talking at the hospital, an Oregon State official said.
