Thanks for posting Sittler.

I am sure that play is a prime "public fade."

I am jumping on as well.

Good luck.

sittler76,

I read from another of your posts that you primarily bet against the public plays. I was wondering where you got your information on what sides the public is favoring? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

cameroncrazie,

I use sites like sportsbook.com and caribsports.com the list the no. of bets on each team and what % is bet.

I also have lots of contacts that are bookmakers as I a a former bookmaker myself.

hoe this helps.

nice job, i noticed with a 7-0 record that you only pick and play a small number of games. is there anything you look for in particular outside of line movements?

sittler....what do you think of this formula...........?

throwing 1500$ into an account and strictly following the fading system based on those two websites.....if i can pull of 70% winnings per week the rate of return is 20%,,,pretty hard to find an investment like that where 1500 will turn into 52,000$ after 3 years, but that is if it pulls 70% of the time/week which is kind of odd, i dont really think that vegas turns over that type of return/week, but ii may be wrong.

forgot to mention.....betting 50$ a game on 25 games/week....hoping that there are 25 games that are heavily favored by the public...what are your thoughts?

lions & tigers,

In the long run this will work but you really have to be selective, In my experience NFL is the only league to make serious money because the books hold the highest % on this. So if you are on all the big teams they need to win you will make the most there. NBA and College bb/fb are also good but you have to realise that the there are way too many games played and that you may be on the same sides that the books need big. If they lose they have 50 more games they can pick up a few thousand here and there and still come out with a decent %. MLB expect the smallest return here because basically the sportsbooks hold the smallest % here.

In summary, unless the books have a losing NFL season (And I can't remember the last time they did) this is a safe system, just make sure you also get the best line you can.
