offensively weak teams in the second half, leading to his better
numbers during that time. However, the Mets pounded him in
two early-season starts and look to continue their role as spoilers
tonight and possibly end Philly's playoff hopes with a win. New
York has won 5 straight and 8 of 10, making quite a nice profit
during their streak. The pitching staff has improved since they
canned Braden Looper as closer and Trachsel has been sharp
since returning (2.78 ERA in 5 starts).
