I posted this in the other forum but there doesn't seem to be much action over there. Any info would be appreciated:

I'm sure this question has been hashed out many times, so please bear with me. I have been doing pretty well th epast few months with my book (pinnacle) and have cashed out about 2 large like 4 times -- once by having them send a check, the other times by having them wire the cash into my prepaid ATM account.I've now got about 20 large in my acct and am thinking about pulling half of it out.

My question is, does the gov't monitor all such wires/payments because they are from overseas, and if so what do I need to do about paying taxes on it. And is it technically illegla for me to be accepting these payments.

Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

Your last paragraph answers your question. Asking for advice on gambling tax matters with off shore bookmakers could be hazardous to your health. If you hold up a bank and don't file a return, that's tax evasion. Not making it up.

How does the neteller ATM card work? Would I need to deposit any money into the neteller acct before making withdrawls? And does the gov't watch those things too?
