houston best bet

Andy Pettitte has been the dominant hurler for the
Astros since the All-Star break (+$630, 2.42 ERA in
32 starts) and he's ideally suited to push Houston
one step closer to the playoffs with a win tonight. The
Cubs have been hopeless vs. lefthanders in 2005
(-$1110 overall) and they'll be up against a motivared
home team that has dominated righthanders, particularly
in night games (+$1125). Carlos Zambrano's presence
in the box is keeping the line in this game manageable,
but he's not been at the top of his game in recent outings
(4.70 ERA last 2 starts) and won't be able to stop the home
team from clinching at least a tie in the NL Wildcard hunt.

Ray, I think Buerle has stated he doesn't care about tonight s game, and only plans on going 4 innings.
